With ebay, you have to be careful, and definately know exactly what you're buying before you click the purchase button.

In general, you want to either make sure to get the US licensed stuff, or if it's still unlicensed, best bet is the HK dvds (they're decent quality, and relatively inexpensive... good alternative until stuff's licensed).

I seriously suggest against getting stuff that's someone's homemade
DVD-R series, though... which tends to be the case unless the thing shows a pic of the commercial product, -and- states specifically it's the commercial product/etc.

Another good idea is to know the exact number of discs the set is supposed to contain... if an add offers a good price, but lists a different count on discs, odds are it's a DVD-R pack.

Anywho, those're the methods I follow, and have yet to get a bad set of DVDs yet.
