How good is the Xbox 360?

I don't mean to offen anyone but it has been proven to be a peace of garbage as of late. Ive been seeing reports that xbox 360 units are giveing errors all the time and blue screens, as well the units are over heating if they are set on the floor. not what i would call a reliable gameing machine. We could see microsoft haveing to call abck all 360s and rereleaseing them in a bigger body with a better cooling system.

now i have heard from people who have managed to not get these problems that the graphics are good but there no masive increase from the xbox. infact a major complaint is that the 360 can only play about 200 of the original xbox games.

Nopes. Dreamcast was a console from a video game-only company SEGA, like Nintendo. Microsoft on the other hand have a lot of money from another source like softwares and patents. Therefore, they can throw all the money they want to keep Xbox360 alive while SEGA didn't have the same fate. Even though Microsoft is losing money, about $126 for every unit they sold, they get $10 for every game they sold.

Yea ... there seems to be a lot of problems with the 360... i work at target and i've seen like a dozen returned already after like 4 days

ya i am still thinking of which system to buy
PS3 or XBOX360 right now i don't look at the system but what games it offers and right now i am tempted to buy XBOX just to play Halo and a few other games such as Elder scroll

Eh, I still feel it's too expensive to even buy right now. Frankly, I just got an X-Box and it's fine, no need to release the new system so early.

THe xbox 360 is very expensive and knowing the problems it is having, microsoft is losing alot of money

well just see how many game that xbox release... it has great graphic and sound system despise the problem it has I think xbox360 will be a great console...

I'm with you on that. I'm greatly impressed by Microsoft newest console. From a UI standpoint, they are far ahead their competition. They also have a very strong online offer which expands every year or so.

From the hardware standpoint, it's a very good machine at "everything". It's really a good machine at everything. I won't compare it at PS3 since we are missing crucial informations and they too have had some crazy rumors (dev kit melting, etc.)

About the game, they only miss a "Halo" type of game. Because for the overall, they have an awsome launch line-up. Think of the original Xbox, Microsoft had launch games such as Azurik (Ugggh). I think they are far more covered and that their strong genres for the Xbox are again present for the 360.

A great 8.5/10 for this launch Microsoft. I've read really positive thing from the tech support you are offering. Your major problems I think are lack of a truly great game and the lack of supplies.

that is wrong. he is not joining them. all thats happening is that Square Enix is thinking about offering to release FFXIII and Dragon Quest 9 for the xbox 360 as well as the ps3.
