1) Gantz - Mature handling of a gory plot line involving a black sphere in an appartment building that copies the information from people who have recently died and gives them a second chance if they are willing to kill aliens that Gantz is fighting.
2) Blench - Off the walls at time, but still sentimental sometimes, Ichigo is a different main hero than I have seen in other mangas aimed at a younger audience. It's funny and the cast interacts well enough that you can tell the difference between them.
3) Freesia - Up there in gore according to the manga, Gantz, this has a great premise and plot twists.
4) Neon Genesis Evangelion - I did not like the series, but I had thought that the manga version may help me decide if I was going to try to download the series. To say, I bought the box set.
5) Trigun - A straight forward story about Vash, trying to find peace without killing another.
6) Full Metal Alchemist - Similar to above in my feelings towards it, but I will have to complete both of these manga series to see if I want to switch it.
7) Naruto - A very long series that contains all the stamples of an action Jump series.
 Ichigo 100% - This boy's in high school? I remember all the downsides, but some of the other more plesant moments give me a sense of deja vu.
9) Ranma 1/2 - The first anime that had any form of romance, but there was enough blank expressions of confusion and hidden hammers of hell to make this random ringer a great manga.
10) Genshiken - I downloaded Puyo, Puyo! |
