Watching on tv

hey, i got this wierd thingie that ,when i connected my comp to my tv, it wont work, i've put my second monitor on shared so it should look but all i see is black with some disturbances

What type of video card do you have, be as specific as you can?

The reason i ask this is because if the card doesn't have tv out it won't work.

If it does have tv out then you can go to a radio shack and pick up a converter cord that will go from the video card to the yellow plugin on your tv. To get sound to your tv just use a converter cable that will take the sound cards output and place them into the red and white plugins.
