They have crossed the line of bishi guys in this game... And I thought the hero of X was bad... I can't say I am even remotely excited about the FF franchise outside of the Final Fantasy Tactics genera anymore. (And that will have to change too once they release that new FFTA based Online RPG that has been rumored about.

I guess it has just finally become too mainstream for me. I guess it is time to get into DragonQuest or something... (Though with SquareEnix on that and all the new versions of teh same game theya re releasing that franchise is bound to get watered down quick too...

it looks pretty complete in the trailer so i couldnt imagine why theyed need a year and a half so i guess the 2-15-05 date is a little more plausible but if they did take untill december next year i wouldnt be surprised

i told my brother the date, because i read that they pushed it back in some magazine, and he said that that was when they were going to release the PS3, so maybe that's why they are pushing it back, to coinside with that release. you know, FF7 was the first ff on ps, and FFX was the first on PS2 , now ff12 can usher in the PS3. makes sense to me!!

the main character is a little too much for him also, even i thought so!! But i loved tidus, he had the most personality.

The trailer really encouraged my brother to look into buying it. he wasn't so syked after he saw the male main character intiallly. He also likes that it will have a darker story line.

the only ff i have ever beaten , was the sequel, which kicks ass!!

whoah ps3???? im pretty sure thats a lie. No tales about that one. Last i heard sony any other corps were trying to utilise the full strength of there systems with cutting edge games rather than a new system. You may want to consult your sorces.

FFX-2 was like a bad dream when you ate too much spicy food before going to bed. It was even worse than FFVIII (i hated FFVIII). The story was nothing awesome and the singing just made it worse. "Hey Yuna, sing for us!!", if i want to see a Britney Spears concert (opening cinematic), i'll pay overpriced tickets and take 3 hours of my life instead of paying 70$ and more than 20 hours.

As for FFXII, i thought it looked a bit like FFIX (i loved FFIX except for the last boss that comes out of nowhere and decides to destroy the earth for no apparent reason). I might rent before buying this one.

how can u not be an ff fan. Anyone whos anyone has at least played 1 game. It like the gamers game. PLay ff7 then tell us ur not a fan.

you know, you would think that, that would convert someone, but there are a lot of people who hate the playstation ones. I am not one of those people, but ff6(3 in america) is the one that got my brothers and I into it. Even though ff7 is my all time fave, Don't diss FFX2!!! the dressphere thingy was really freakin' cool!!!

The ships and city designs remind me of the new StarWars movies. Not that that's bad... just the first thing that popped into my head when I watched the trailer.

These games are really becoming interactive movies.
