recently viewed the trailers and id say it is quite interesting... i saw juggernaut there... or was it really him?? he doesn't look bulky at all...
id still say the coolness would have gone up if gambit were to show up... |
Yes juggernaut is there, he's played by Vinnie Jones. And I agree he doesn't look that bulky. _________________ [IMG:150:113:e9846eec03]http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e83/neonlamb/04.jpg[/img:e9846eec03][img:54:54:e9846eec03]http://www.boomspeed.com/egraphics/90725.gif[/img:e9846eec03] |

the third film would have to be my least favourite out of the 3 films, but it is still worth watching.
god dammit, they glide through so many good parts so quickly. _________________ "Look at me, with my pretty bracelet and tiara... I'm a fuckin' princess!"

Instead of spending my entire time focusing on the plot, I observed a few other things:
Product Placement:
I'm definately sure I missed a great deal, but I'm confident to say the obvious Oakley Juliets. There were also many scenes where they showed a Dell moniter. As for that 1-second shot of a 7-Eleven logo, I was amazed to even notice that. Any vehicles? When I saw the scene where he was chucking the cars at the good guys, a thought suddenly came to mind: "Crap! I'm supposed to look for product placement for cars!"
And so unfortunately, I only came up with nothing but scorched junk of metal.
Anyways, as for the movie itself, I'd say it was good. It's a shame so many of the people weren't so much involved anymore.
And by that, I mean characters getting killed off, like Sc- *ahem*. Okay, stop highlighting this. =/
I liked the action, it kept me entertained for as long as I could remember. _________________

| I saw the movie. it was pretty good.
I liked the fight beetween the mutants and the x-men at the end. that was a really cool fight.
the movie was good. I thought there should have been more action and a little more intresting.
I though the fenix was really weird.

It looks like there's a bunch of positive feedback for this movie. I hope I'm not the only one who believes otherwise...
MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD!! Don't read if you intend to watch the movie and be surprised still. I'm not as forgiving as v-boi:
Damn you Brett Ratner for destroying my beloved X-Men franchise. Seriously, they should have just waited for Bryan Singer to finish his Superman movie to finish off the X-Men series. The Pheonix Saga was handled all wrong in this one.
First and foremost, the allocation and handling of the main characters. Cyclops (SCott Summers) didn't even have a fight. No less than ten minutes into the movie, the dude dies without putting up much of a fuss. Nevermind the fact that it's pretty much wrong to kill him in the first place since the Pheonix Saga is pretty much shit without the love triangle. Then the Professor is up and gone halfway into the movie. What the hell is Ratner doing?!?!? Mystique and Rogue, two of my favorite characters from the previous incarnations, barely have any screen time. Outside of the war room, Rogue didn't even have any cool fight scenes. Oh, and then they stripped Magneto of his powers (it's at the end, but still, Magneto rules all!!!). How dare they take his powers away from him. He should have just stripped all the adamantium from Wolverine's body.
Not all was rotten in the land of The Last Stand though. I'm glad Iceman got to look like, well, Iceman. Also the whole Iceman/Shadowcat thing was alright since Rogue needs to be with Gambit (he wasn't in the movie either. Talk about dissapointing to the end...). The last battle, although over the top, was fun to watch. I did enjoy all the death and wonton destruction that Pheonix inflicted amongst everybody.
Shadowcat deserves her own paragraph. Ever since X-Men Evolution, I've always liked Shadowcat and it's about damn time she gets her dues. Nothing like singlehandedly disposing of Juggernaut. If there's future movies, I hope she gets more screen time.
Final rants: Where the hell is Nightcrawler? Wolverine is a pathetic shell of himself. Rogue without powers is stupid. Same goes with Mystique. Halle Berry should not talk and just summon up the weather. Psylocke really wasn't any of a factor. They should have had Avalanche instead of that man-chick. Finally, I'm still pissed about what they did to Magneto!
Damn you Brett Ratner!!!
Virtually a waste of my nine dollars and two hours of my time. Perhaps it was rushed. If they added a half an hour for the characters to just reflect and take it all in, I probably would have despised it less. But no, it's just one horrible event after another...
Bryan Singer... I miss you...
X-4? If only that were true, because they need to bounce back from this pathetic excuse of a conclusion.
Joss Whedon + Bryan Singer = great writer/director team for the next movie!!!
PS. I'll leave the scene after the credits alone. You people can discuss that amongst yourselves. My only words are:
Sinister X!!!!

Damn, I was laughing my ass off when I watched this film. Oh man...the director had the balls to make the movie different from the comic and I give him some props for that.
I must say that they did something reall well and to those who have watched the movie and have read the comics will get a special treat!
Arc Angel and Callisto are both introduced in this film meaning...the next movie will probably revolve around Apocolypse because we know that Arc Angel and Callisto are both horsemen of the Apoc. AA being the horsemen known as Death and Callisto is the horsemen known as War.

Wait, what?
Oh, and I was distracted with the product placement and all during the Professor's lecture, can somebody fill me in on what he was talking about? I saw the scene after the credits, and my friends who saw the movie with me told me that it had to do with what the Professor was talking about in his lecture. _________________
