other topics focuses only on one or two games. So I decided to make a thread where we can discuss all the Metal Gear Solid games that was made. And also for the upcoming games that will be released soon

so far I've played the original MGS1 on PS1, MGS: VR Missions, MGS:Integral, MGS2:Substance, and MGS3:Snake Eater.

I've played all of those and the gameboy color one(didn't like it, never finished it).

My favorites are MGS 1, and MGS 2.

3 could have been a favorite, but crappy camera angles turned me off. Hopefully, when MGS 3: Substinence is released, it'll make my day. I'm also excited for the online play Substinence is going to have.

-You'll be having war-based fighting using the soldiers from the KGB vs Volgans soldiers.

-You'll have an online mode where 1 player is Snake, and has to silently eliminate the rest of the 7 players who are soldiers. You're supposedly armed with nothing but a knife and camo, and you're being hunted by the other players. Even though it may seem cheap, they might have a handicap for you, for example: giving the soldiers the ability to only look in FPS mode.

Anything you wanna discuss, storywise Raiden?

Sorry to say, but I think that other than the Metal Gear Solid on the PSone the next best one has to be AC!D. The game was suprisingly fun and addictive and a very good choice as a your first game for the PSP.

Yeah I heard AC!D was really fun. I would buy it if I had a PSP.

I tried it on a friends though, and I think the card system is unique. The turn-based thing goes a bit too slow for me though.

I never got to finish it, but I had fun while I played.

btw Reis...how GOOD was the remake of MGS1?
i always wanted to play that game but buying a GC means I'll only have about 3-5 games for it.

And also...how was the change in the fight with Sniper Wolf on Comms Tower?

I actually never got that far on the remake. The only way for me to play GC games is at my girlfriends house, and aparently, her sister sold her copy of the MGS1 remake to a friend of hers.

I really can't get mad, since it wasn't my game... but I was dissappointed in not being able to finish such a fun game.

the cinematics in the REmake was astounding!
i really liked the part where Gray Fox fought Rex...differently told from the original to the remake.

Do you prefer the FAMAS over the M4? the thing I liked about the FAMAS was it's way or reloading and the way it was designed.

FAMAS was definitely a better rifle.

I mean, FAMAS + Tracer bullets + infinite bandana?

Also, I never really used the rifles in MGS2, they were kinda useless. Other than the AK which was needed to get in the core, I didn't like using rifles.

I wish the katana could be unlocked for Raiden in the normal game, instead of just the end. I would have had a lot more fun with this game...

have you played AC!D? how good was it? that was one of my main reasons to get a PSP but I wasn't sure if it was good or not.

How'd you like Snake Eater? it was one of the hardest sequence to get the Stealth Camouflage no? And no Soliton radar!!

AC!D is ridicuously fun and time consuming if you're into card/turn-based games.

I liked MGS3, but found the camera angles annoying. Shooting the frogs was absolutely annoying too. I don't really thing getting the stealth is worth it, since I find the coolest camo in the game to be The Sorrow's camo and the Santa Claus camo you can download off the internet.

Going without rader was simple, because after playing MGS on extreme, you get used to it. (I never beat none of the MGS on extreme though... it's just way to ridicuously hard).

MGS3 is the fun stealth game ever...for me...that solid snake got CQC yeah!!!....it so fun to use...my fav was the one that solid push foe head into ground...that rock....and also...i hate MGS2 ending...i don't understand a THING!!!....that Rose and the general (!!??) was all FAKE!!...and u must fight 10++ metal gear ray...that suck...man...

Extreme Difficulty on MGS2 was insane! You can be killed in just 2 shots!
rations are Extremely rare and can only be obtained from enemies by mugging them(pick n' drop). the battle against 20+ Rays are fun but annoying if you get killed after destorying about 20 of them...

and the hardest part was pressing the triangle button to avoid death. (try that on Extreme and your arm's gonna give up!)
