This series of games is one of my favorites! The story is always good, the characters are great, and trying not to kill anyone is fun! My favorite would have to be the first one though, MGS2 and 3 were great but I just love the first for some reason.

The MGS1 remake was really good; there wasn't anything that I didn't like. People are always complaining about the voices but I think they are just being fan people. I personally found them to be good. It was easier though; the aiming mechanic from the second game made many of the boss fights a breeze. The gunfight with Ocelot just lost a lot of it's luster, it was much more thrilling to fight him normally. Though first person shooting is optional to use so that shouldn't be a problem.

MGS2 was really good; the story was once again brilliant. Though I was kinda like " WTF? " when I had to play as Raiden. Though he did that cartwheel thing so I quickly warmed up to him. I began to hate the cartwheel at the end of the game though... thank god he has hands. Though the thing I really remember was the opening FMV. The way he jumps off of the bridge and lands on the deck of the ship was just so cool.

I liked MGS3, it was really different and I though it was going to be hard without radar, but it wasn't. I was surprised that the camo worked, if you wore certain kinds and went against the right surface you really had a hard time seeing Naked Snake. The interactive cut scenes were cool; ya got a nice glimpse every once in a while.

I really like how Snake never has any glowing goggles.

at first, fight The End for me was hard. but after learning that you cn obtain a camo from him, I figured a way to eliminate the sniping sequences. Either sneak up on him from the back and when he runs, I equip my thermal goggles to stay on track and see his footprints.

It's really not that hard to Sneak up on him. just pinpint his loacation and make a big circle to flank him from the back. And Stuuning him nets you the Mosin Nagant which is like the Dragunov but instead of killing...it tranquilizes.

The Fear was almost impossible to beat on extreme unless you find out his weakness...that is food. Rotten food will do to make him throw up and a few more mk22 rounds to stun/kill him.

Of all bosses, I'd say The Fury was the easiest.

I took 'em with the knife on normal. I didn't care much for his camo because fire resistance wasn't a big issue for me. My second play thru, I did obtain his camo, and any other one I missed for fun.

Though, I pretty much just use the Santa Camo I downloaded last year when I re-play MGS3.

Man, MGS 4 really looks like it's the end of the series...

Solid Snake's genes have become uberly unstable, and so his body has aged quite a bit in a short amount of time. He really looks like an old timer now.

I've seen a few pics, and it seems he hasn't kicked the smoking habit despite his "old age".

I'm pretty sure that you guys have seen the trailer of MGS4....yeah...he looks old but still packs a punch! Did you guys get the HD version of the trailer? HD was oooommph! blew me away! Winamp had problems playing the trailer.

"nowhere to hide"...the battlefield clearly explains why that quote was made. I guess the snoking will always be there. I'm quite sad to see the final(I hope NOT!) chapter of Snake's struggle....

Wouldn't raiden be a good Substitute for him? I'll probably hear "What?! that GIRLY man?! he's not good enough to take on Snake's shoes!" or something like that.

Raiden could be a good replacement, but I'm sure a LOT of fans would be disappointed, seeing as how a lot of players disliked him. I had no problem playing as him, and thought he was pretty cool.

I haven't seen the HD trailer, but I've seen the one where he's fighting all the soldiers for a directors chair, that was hilarious.

It seems in MGS4, a lot of old enemies (and allies) will show up. A few names that have shown up were: Ocelot(duh), Meryl, Otacon, Raiden and a few others I can't remember right now.

Otacon is going to be able to provide field support with a "mini Metal Gear", and it brings you items and stuff. Hopefully, and most likely, it's going to provide support while in fire fights and such.

Also, it seems the struggle in this final chapter of MGS revolves around two warring countries, with Solid Snake in the middle. It also seems both countries have their own Metal Gear forces to use against each other... at least that's what I saw on the pictures.

This is going to be the best MGS yet...

I'll BBL to discuss more.

Personally I like the story and gameplay. Also in the first one running around with stealth and infinite bullets was pretty fun.

Ahh, I forgot to mention.

Solid Snake in MGS4 has this nifty little gadget avaliable to him now.

The "Solid Eyepatch" works like an all in one device that allows Snake to use features such as: Nightvision, Thermal, Binoculars, and Analyzing and collecting data. Other features it might have, I don't know too much about but it's a pretty cool new item he has.

it's called the "Solid Eye System" it's printed on it. it replaces the Soliton Radar System, NVG and Thermal Goggles.
the "new" Metal Gear...it a cross between MG Rex and MG Ray don't you think? I mean look at the FEET!!!

Did you like the CQC system?

The new metal gears look tiiiiiiiiiiight. OMG, I had orgasmic reactions when I saw the pics.

The CQC system was alright, slitting throats was absolutely fun.

The downside is I wish there were variations to the throws down moves, instead of just pounding their head straight into the ground.

Like on the 'Push Start Screen' of MGS3, you see how many different ways he's disarming and putting down his enemies? Why couldn't they do that in game... that was another disappointment for me in MGS3.

Oh yeah, do you know anything about MGS3: Substinence being release Raiden? I'd look it up myself, but lazy-ness has the best of me right now.
