I liked this game because the point was to not be found and to be as stealthy as possible. You dont see this style of game alot.

There are a lot of other stealth games besides MGS.

But in my opinion, they're not up to par with the MGS series. Other popular stealth titles may include Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter.

Storyline wise, MGS reigns supreme.

I just recently played through MGS 3. I enjoyed almost all the stealth portions, but I absolutely hated the chase portion. I really was annoyed trying to shoot people while your on the bike with EVA; It took me a few times to figure out where the people were shooting from.

Anyways, I really did enjoy the storyline and was shocked to find out that Boss was a double agent and that Ocelot was ADAM and was working for the US and EVA was working for the Republic of China. It was obvious to me that the main character Snake was going to become Big Boss.

You know, the real EVA was a man. The female was a fake. Who the real EVA was supposed to be is a mystery to me though.

Recently beat MGS2 again, in under 10 hours on Normal. Not too bad considering I haven't touched this game in a while.

I love this MGS for the fact you get a katana. I hate this game because you get the katana a little late in the game. :/

I'm currently playing AC!D now. and based on my opinion, it wasn't too bad. I kinda enjoy it. besides the "trial and error" gameplay, I like the way you plan your every move in this one. I guess I'll be buying AC!D 2 when it comes out.
since I liked the first game. too bad there wasn't any voice actors in it...

i played MSG2 and the story was kinda confusing (the one where you use raiden). AC!D is okay though, but card/turn based doesn't suit me in a stealth game.

EVA being a spy of China was the most unexpected thing.. there were already hints that she's a double agent or something but of China? hehe that got me..

though i hate the snake vs ape mini game. damn its too hard..

I just watched a Speedrun of MGS the Twin Snakes. I was...blown off by his speed. He was playing on Extreme with no radar and no ration used, and also not spotted by enemy soldiers. And he did that all in under 1:20 hrs. Without Killing anyone!

the whole series was excellent. the game play was superb and fun. beautifly designed. however the story lines can be a bit confusing and some what ghetto, well im mostly talking about msg2. i love the fun factor and graphics for that game, but the story just kills my brain cells..... i mean...... WTF is going on?? well all other series kick arse. i just love sneaking around with the stealth suit on and snapping the enemies' necks. what pleasure it was
