They're gonna remake it!?

I really love the concept of this series, with the "all of the girls has the potential to be powerful concept" if they make a pact with Negima.

And the tournament wasn't even shown in the anime... Crying or Very sad

Where Negi and most of the girls found out about a lot of truths about the past/Negi's true life.

The near end part of this anime is very far from the manga's story... I mean.... she died?!

And where's the wolf boy?? The great and grand school festival?? The whole magic of the big Mahora tree of the world?? The Thousand Gates episodes??

A big chunk of the manga has been torn away from the anime.... but that didn't stop me from loving this series. And I really cried because of Asuna's problem... Laughing

I really really really hope for a better and BIGGER series for Mahou Sensei Negima in the future. The fighting scenes really are supposed to be GREAT, with the ancient incantations and powers and stuff... but I dunno... I felt it lacked details on emphasis or something.

I'm glad they gave this series another chance. Maybe when it will be released, it'll be bigger that Haruhi~ Wink

i've read till book 14 i think and it's just a litlle echhi and the story gets complicated.......i like eva the best!

Im still freaked out that Konoka & Setuna kissed though. I was a little surprised that Setuna's voice was so deep. Shocked

You know what they say. There is always season 2 this fall to rectify things. Hopefully it will be a little more true to the manga this time around.

The English dub is now available to cable subscribers with Starz Anime On-Demand (well, in the Boston MA area at least).

It's pretty well-done actually. Much better than I would have expected (wish I could say the same thing about Tsukuyomi Moon Phase). Greg Ayes usually bugs thecrap out of me and although his portrayal of Negi Springfield is done well with the British accent, his quiet whispy voice still aggravates me. The rest of the girls are done excellently though, epsecially Nodoka, Ayaka, Yui and Evangeline. Fuuka and Fumika could have been better, but I'll live. I'm prolly just critical of them because they're my fave characters.

it might seem like a bad anime but actually is pretty good!
but i perfer the manga tought...
about girls falling in love for a little boy will make more sense later in the anime Wink

well, manga is for sure ecchi but that is its author still. Remember Love Hina manga right. I agree that anime ended really fast. I was hoping for at least two seasons. ) and Negi is nicer to her so she may fall in love with him too. The most feared vampire in love with Thousands master's son. well, at least they look like about same age.
