Your view on drugs

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Some drugs are very dangerous for you (speed, ecstacy, the wrong mushrooms and so on). But what most people take, marijuana and hash aren't dangerous, not much at least. They are LESS DANGEROUS than ALCOHOL.

While alcohol kills your braincells, some drugs only causes them to sleep. After a couple of days 90% of those sleeping braincells have woken up again. And after about a month, they are all awake again, meaning no harm done to you. Many business men actually smoke hash and marijuana. It's a great way against stress.

When considering the price: if you for example go to a party and buy beer to get drunk, you spend about $20 (usually more in my country). Instead you could smoke a couple of joints for less than half the price, get the same feeling (high instead of drunk) and you wont get hangover the next day (but I warn you: don't mix too many joints with too much alcohol. I promise you; you will feel sick).

Of course some people gets dependent on some drugs, forcing them into crime. But the same happens with drinking! And the reason there's so much trouble with them drugusers today is because of the society! Yep, because society has made all drugs illegal, even those harmless ones, people are being forced to buy it drugdealers, who sell it at a very high price because it puts them at a risk (getting caught by the police) and it's difficult to get.

To put it simple; legalize the more harmless drugs (if not all drugs) so people can decide themselves if they wanna take it or not and get rid of all that underground drug crime. Also put taxes on drugs and see the money rolling into the pocket of the state.

Or if you think drugs should be illegal, like they are in most countries, then we should illegalize smoking and drinking alcohol too. And on top of that, fast food too. These products are just as dangerous.

I don't see why someone has to use drugs, though. Of course there are some people who REALLY need to get out of it, because abusive parents and stuff, a lot of people also use drugs because they think its cool.

Really, you can probably go outside and play some sports. At least thats legal.

This is how I feel about drugs even though I no longer use them I have tried quite a few. And I think most people can be responsible enough to use them with out doing anything rash. It's ours lives we can live how we want to. If you wanna shorten it by using drugs go ahead the worlds over populated anyways. Let the people decide for themselves I hate that governments try to govern our personal lives, although government is necessary I don't think it's necessary in that facet of my life.

I have never try any drugs and I don't think I ever will. First of all, I'm affraid of getting addicted. It would be really hard to quit and I can't afford all of those thing. There are extremely expensive. Secound, I think that you should try to do something else for fun. Go and play some sports and if you too lazy watch anime Wink

I think taking drugs are just bad for yourself.

I know many people my age that do drugs, but they are sensible enough. They're not ones to go out and drive while they're high, because they know that way they're endangering other lives. And when they smoke, it's either with other smokers or alone, as they make sure no one else is effected by what they're doing. All in all they seem like nice people, so I don't really mind.

But me, I don't ever want to do drugs. I'm fine just drinking, and even when I drink, it's minimal. Drugs dealers and drug users are often involved with gangs and violence, but I've been in a share of fights in high school and it had nothing to do with drugs. Crimes happen, it's all about the will power to resist these things. That's just my two-cents.

I've always been told that drugs are bad for your health and have seen movies and have inspirational speakers who've told me how drugs have affected their lives negatively. Due to this, I also think drugs should not be taken.

Most kids do pot so they can pretend to be cool. Wall Street investment bankers on the other hand, are hooked on coke because it helps them to release daily stress. Since there are always frustrated people in this world, there will always be demand for drugs, ditto the supply.

As long as drugs only harm the individual user they should not be banned. The funny thing is that in history some countries used drugs to weaken other countries.

If youre saying drugs are bad which I think they are then shouldnt ciggerettes (spelling?) also be illegalized. People might take drugs to get high or feel good but ciggerettes dont do anything and are dangerous and addictive. I personally think that if drugs are band then so should ciggerettes. Im not really an expert in this area but I think ciggerettes have worsehealth related risks then some illegalized drugs.

See I think drugs have done some good things for us. If you don't think drugs have done good things for us then do me a favor. Go home tonight and take all of your records,tapes and all your CD's and burn them. Because, you know all those musicians who made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years? Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs, man.

I thing drugs like heroin or kinda like that, are less horrible than nicotine... There are just a few ones who take heroin or other kinds of drugs one get easily addicted to... But if I look at my school or at ppl around me... The most of them smoke, not me nor my parents... But my friends do... A lot of ppl do... I can't go out dancing or on a concert without smelling like cigarette smoke for around 4 days... Lil kids smokes... It's illegal for them in Germany when they are younger than 16... But still lil girls and boys smokes at an age of 12... They think it's cool... They are afraid of things like heroin or LSD or whatever drugs there are outside... But smoking is ok... Or coffee... I'm addicted to it... It's also a drug... You don't get high or something like that but you simply need it... If people want to take drugs, why not? It's their lifes... One of my best friends is smoking weed... I tried to tell her to stop, but she won't listen... Another friend of mine was used to cocaine... But this are their decision...
