hello! happy new years yall. mmm, i did this sketch cause i needed to redo the look of the main char and i also wanted to draw a new girl. so please let me know what you think. anything i should change? add? lemme know anything on your mind about this that would make it better K? thanks!!!

Love the new look on both of them.
This girl looks alot more mature than the previous one as well.
Gives me the feeling shes the sort of woman who'd take things into her own hands instead of letting it run its course.

Maybe some trademark jewellry she always wears to differentiate her from other characters? (Like the collar she's wearing with the bell).

Love the drawing especially how you drew the guy. Although I dont really like how they stick out their tongue but thats just me.

thanks for checking it out! mm, someone told me her head was too big so i changed it a little but not too much. and the necklace i got the idea from someone who wore this red neck thingie around her neck and from Avatar cartoon.

and the tongue was cause i wanted to make them look playful Razz

but otherwise, very nice. except for one other thing, the guy's torso looks unnatural. like he is leaning back but twisting forward

i think the =P for the guy is fine but the =P on the girl is alil weird... it seems a bit unnatural.

the head for the girl is a bit big but you dont really notice until u stare at it for a long time *stares* x3

is it just me or do other ppl think so too that the arm to the left (viewer's left) is a bit short or maybe even just a bit too curved? >.<

either way, this is great. AND THEY HAVE GLASSES!! EXTRA COOKIES FOR UUUUU x333

hmm i'll check the tongues again. i wanted them to look playful like taking a photo. but i didn't want to put a plain type of expression on her. but anyway, i'm happy yall like them. yes yes i put glasses cause, i like girls with glasses...heh

and..kurotsubasa yes u can use the hair. a lot of characters have that type of hair i think...hiei from yu yu hakusho, and others that i can't name right now Razz

hmm... it is kinda like your usual drawings, but it lacks something... not quite sure what......... oh yeah, the blue ink! the blue ink gives the feeling of you, ghost... but its really good too... but the girls tongue does look kinda wierd and all... the guys great.... although i think in terms of looks, the previous one totally thrashes this speccy... but maybe its just my taste.... if your thinking of making this girl like a love rival, i dont really suggest that, cus there will be nothing to fight about, the previous rox!!!

Man, I just love the way you draw Ghostevolution... how long have u been drawing newaiz???

It's just that im still developing my drawing style and been looking around at heaps of artists and pictures and id like to recieve some tips from you. You see I'm 14 and I've only been drawing properly for about 3-4 years and i really admire your work. Although comparing my work to yours makes me feel physically and mentally HANDICAPPED!!!

Wah, just keep up the good work, and i'll be followin u from now on!!! hehe...

P.S. Oh, and i think it would be cute if you had the guy have his right arm around the girl... n_n!!! Just my opinion though

You drew it so good i can't find anything wrong or suggest anything to it, well maybe try to make their arms hook each other and their hands in their pocket to make it look more playful. About the tongue don't chage them cause they make your char. more naughty lookin' and that's becoming theirs and your trademark.

haha thanks again. i did want them to look playful so i guess i did that right. hmm i was going to hook their arms or lock their hands together but i just decided not to. thanks for that idea though, i'll use it next time.

as for developing your own artistic drawing abilities all i can really suggest is practice. i say study on the basic anatomy of a person, then convert the largest body parts into shapes (circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, etc) and try to peice them together. it helps to build a strong structure. then just practice drawing.

like the face, just keep looking at how eyes look like or are drawn and try to draw them yourself. same with everything else. as for perspective, go grab a book and study up. there isn't any other way i know to learn that than study and try out yourself. so good luck!

Heh, looks pretty interesting, but what inspired you into giving the characters glasses. Both characters in fact. The old ones didn't wear any, correct?
