I have a internet connection in my house 192kbps I think...
now I'm using BitSpirit to download some manga or anime...I want ask something about the seed/peer......
The seed/peer right now is [51/55] and the speed of the downloading is 10kps-30kps.....
how can I get faster downloading in BT? _________________ "HITSUZEN-A naturally foreordained event.

First:
192kbps (kilobits per second) = 24 kilobytes per second
You should not be able to go higher than that number... If that is not the correct speed of your connection this is what you do, get the number of kbps and divide it by 8 (1 byte = 8 bits).
Second:
The speed of your BitTorrent download depends on how much of the file you are sharing. When you start downloading the file, since you only have little to nothing of it, it will download slower. BitTorrent speeds increase in a logistic progression. If you are able to control the upload speed, for faster downloads, the higher this is, the faster you will download.
mangafan007.. i think he meant that he can download usually around 192 kbps.. cause..192 is really slow nowadays...
anyway, other than that.. bt doesnt have very much to do with your connection speed, its got more to do with the number of seeds and peers you're connected to.. and hwo fast they're sending to you, basically, you upload waht you're downloading... correct if i'm wrong btw, i'm not 100% sure on the issue of bt.. so if i'm wrong then mangafan pretty much covers it 100% _________________ Mr. Offtopic o_o

Then what you saying is the more seed /peer is the faster the downloading is..even my connection is 192kps.. _________________ "HITSUZEN-A naturally foreordained event.

Could be... although 192 kbps is an average DSL/Cable Internet Connection. Believe it or not, I am typing this under a 56.6kbps connection (modem).

That too affects the speed of BT. You are correct on stating that. How are you going to download what it is not there? If there are no seeds for a portion of the file(s) you are downloading, and you already have the other portions, the download will remain unfinished until the tracker can find somebody with the part you are missing.

You will never go faster than your connection bandwidth. If your connection is at 192 kbps then, the maximum theoretical transfer speed is 192 kbps.
Note that kbps = kilobits per second, and that 1 byte = 8 bits. Usually you measure transfer speeds in kbytes/second and connection speeds in kbps. A T1 line usually runs at 10Mbps = 1.25 MB/sec, but the maximum download rate i have archived in one of those is 500 kB/sec (less than 50% the actual bandwidth).
