Suzuka Discussion (no scans here) [SPOILERS]

I don't post a lot on forums. but if you guys need an editor for suzuka give me a pm.
And i have another idea for puting the suzuka chapters on share. make a torrent on a free site and post them there and here put the link for the site.

The thing is, if those people want to continue translating Suzuka, then I, and Animescans have to drop this project. That's why I'm asking whehter they want to continue or not, if not, we'll just resume it.

no offense, but i hope they keep scanning. i'm having fun editing their stuff, and you won't let me work with yours ;P.

i just finished Ch. 75 HQ, i'll have it online within 15 minutes hopefully.

edit: okay its edited and online.

CGY maybe you can compare it to the originals, tell me what you think.

HAHA i loved that bit with Hashiba(Miki) ^^. She's my favorite character in this manga, kinda reminds me of Kitaooji from Ichigo, but not as forceful, and much more amicable.Part of me wishes that he got with her instead of Honoko before getting with Suzuka

No no thats not the problem because cgy also put them to read online however some people dont like to read online. If you could also rar them and put in some site it would be good to. However you dont need to do it its just 1minute to download them Razz

If you need a tracker for your translations, I would suggest Point-Blank. You can find them here: http://www.point-blank.cc:7001/. It's free and they don't seem to have many translated Suzuka chapters up, but they have up to chapter 90 RAW up (if you need any raws)..

You can ask them directly if they want to provide a tracker or I could ask them for you if you want..

Actually I'm not sure when spoilers should be used. For example, since Chapter 79 has been translated, will it be spoilerish if I comment on ch79? It's all very confusing.

Just in case, it should be in spoiler tags:

I like the new "in-love-with-Yamato" Suzuka way better. Before this, she really came off as an uptight perfectionist whose only pleasure was to disagree with Yamato. I could totally relate to him when he says he doesn't understand what's the deal with her. So true, so true. Suzuka, please just kiss him already, you know you want to!

And, of course, many grateful thanks to the translators Shinigamiangel and Whoami for doing this for the Suzuka fans.

By the way chred2akrisp, I like your high quality edits. Will you be editing Chapters 76-79 as well as any future chapters? Because if you are, you might want to put the links to individual pages on a post and link that post on the first post. Or else the first post is going to get quite long. (Just a random suggestion)

what do you say if we both work on the HQ releases i got nothing to do anyway. just pm me and tell me what chapter to start on.

okay, listen up.

ch 75 was probably the only chapter where there is going to be very noticable differences. after 75, there's no problems with text going out of the speech bubbles. the only problems are a few misspellings, center aligning text, and some other minor stuff.

Its not that i don't want help, its just that from ym experience working on any project, not just manga, its hard to work on one aspect with more than one person. whoami does translation, then shinigamiangels does scanlation, then I do HQ edit.

Having more than one person work on the HQ edit would just be kind of confusin because I like to make sure the style is the same throughout the manga.

If another group starts scanlations(GearBox and co) you could do that for them. two different styles of HQ would be nice(from two different translations).

remember, give credit where credit is due. shinigamiangels and whoami deserve the most respect. anyone can make things look nice, but its hard to make the original copies.

welll.... you can clean up the colours (or shades) a little..... the colours are ... whats the word..... inconsistent....... look at the difference b/t LQ and HQ bleach and naruto scanslations..... everything is clearer and cleaner in the HQ and less grainyness
