have anyone played this cool 2D shooter from SNK?

it's one of the best 2D shooters out there in the arcades....so what do you think of this game?

I also heard they are working on a 3D metal slug aswell now Smile

Metal Slug 3d? that's gonna suck...
I played the one on X-Box and could never beat it in 3 days I had it

Ah Metal slug... what I like to call "The game of games"

I love the MS games! People who have never played them don't know what a hard game is! I have completed 1,2,3,4,5 and X with relative ease (Mainly because the Arcade near my home has a MS3 and MS1 machine in the back). I even own a few of the actuall games... I have the Neo geo cart of MS1 and I have the PC version of MS3...

I havn't heard about MS3d but I have heard about MS6.... it should be out soon actually!

Metal slug is a cool old skool game, used to play it in the acrades before.

Metal Slug...I loved that game. I think I own a Metal Slug game for my Playstation. Nonetheless, it's the coolest 2d game I have.

I've only played Metal Slug in the arcades, and it's pretty fun. It's nice to play an older game once in a while. I never got to play it enough to really enjoy it like you guys though.

Hehe metal slug is an awesome game.... I love SNK.... king of fighters.... metal slug.

N e wayz..for those who love metal slug....its gonna be released on ps2 soon.... as a double pack.... metal slug 4 and 5 i believe.
And the prices for these packs r really good so u should get it to help suppose snk...cuz man...i hope they dont die again

I'm really out of it; I remember thinking 3 was pretty new, but I guess that was 4 years or so ago...

I see metal slug arcade games everywhere now but the latest ive seen was 3 never heard of 4 or 5 and upcoming 6

one of the 1st arcade games i truly got very good at... too bad i kinda stopped after X, but 1 and 2 rocks...

I never actually finish any Metal Slug series from 1-4 in arcade version. I always use 1 token and when my life runs out i never continue.

Yeah metal slug games are great i have played all of them. I havent heard of the 3d slug though but i think that if they do make it it would kill the game. What is so great about Metal slug is that it is 2d. It kind of makes it unique in the fact that every game out now is 3d. If it goes 3d it kinda feels like its selling out.....Kinda like street fighter and i think King of fighters did too......
