The drawing style of manga varies, but all of them are unique and high-quality in my opinion. Manwha are also cool, but I just don't feel the same when I read it and compared it to mangas.

So I'm 70-100% manga and 0-30% manwha. It all depends on the mangas/manwhas.

Aren't they sort of the same? Just that Manwhas go left to right and mangas go right to left, they're basically comics only the art is a bit different.. Ain't it?

I ve read mostly manga for the most part. Recently though I found a manwha called unbalance x unbalance that I found preety interesting. I also liked the art for it. I was curious about what some good manwha series are in people's opinions.

hmmm, In may case I rather prefer reading manga instead of manwha, although I haven't read many manwhas I can find great variety of topics in manga.

More over if we take consider that good manwhas haven't been transated yet.

I prefer mangas better because of the simplicity in character drawings. some Mangas are more 'boxy' and have sharp angles to them. They are liek a mixed version of Chinese and Japanese comics.

but I bet you a lotta ppl pulled some manhas off the book shelf believing it to be manga before Wink To the untrained eyes and the japanese/korean-illiterate it can be hard to tell once its translated.

It's actually quite easy to tell them apart. You read manga from right to left, whereas you read manhwa from left to right just like western comic books.
Also, characters often have Korean names in manhwa... you can't mistake a Korean name from a Japanese name, they're very distinctively different.

Also, you say manga are mixed version of Chinese and Japanese? or did you mean manhwa?

I always avoided manwha for no particular reason until recently. I always thought they would not be as good as manga but i changed my mind when i read Shin Angyo Onshi and i think I will check out the Priest manwha soon also.

Are you sure about this? My Shin Angyo Onshi books need to be read from right to left. Maybe it's only this manwha....

Yes, I'm very sure, at least with manhwa published by Korean publishers.
Shin Angyo Onshi is indeed a work of Korean artists, but the series was first published with Japanese publishers. This means that it would follow the Japanese style of presentation; which is to read from right to left. I don't know whether to call this manhwa just because it's created by Korean artists, or to call it manga since it was first serialized in Japanese monthly magazine.

It really doesn't matter to me, I think mahnwa is as great as manga. But if I had to chose, I chose mahnwa. The drawings are usually well... not exagarated, which for me is nice.
But I only read from the Internet, so it's usually manga.
