what makes you buy a game?

If the game looks cool i will buy. i m a simulation game collected. but i play rpg as well. my favourite are Final Fantasy, The Sims, Sims games. etc....

a game is entertaining. wenever you're bored, you can just turn ur game console on and get hours and hours. days and days. weeks and weeks. months and months. well, you get the point now.

Games I buy are usually from some sort of Series... such as FFX and FFX-2... like to see how the companies screws around the original series to make it worse

i wil buy a game if it has a good "i want to play it again and again" factor... and if it is ever an RPG... well kinda hard to tell, mostly i based it on reviews by the beta testers and those reviews where the game is released already...

Most of the Time my best friend tells me about the greatest hits.

But most of the time i buy sequels or game from the same developers.
Hideo Kojima. Konami, SquareEnix.

I like the asian culture games with samurais like genji or onimusha.
Also like every sort of Rpg and very story based action games.

I would say games that have a good reputation will become "must buy" titles.

Price is a big factor for me. As I say, free is always a lot of fun. Then come storyline, graphics, and gameplay. The game has to really draw me in and can't be repetitive in any way. An excellent sound track doesn't hurt either.

I buy most of my games on 3 conditions.

1. If I've seen good reviews, and lots of screenshots and movies, and I like the genre of the game

2. If I can get a really good deal on it, like, $15 or cheaper

3. If it's a game I really want. If it comes to this, I don't care what the price is, I must have it.

If the game looks pretty cool and I've heard nice things about it I will get it. Also, if I rent it and it turns out to be a keeper then I will buy it as well.

actually graphics and gameplay are the most important. i can't play games with bad controls and i can't stand games that look like crap
