I'm not sure if there is a topic like this. I used the search but couldn't get past the first page of results. Theres similar ones like first anime, but What i'm asking is, Do you remember the old classics shows, that turned out to be anime from when you were a kid?

I do, it just hit me when I chanced upon a Speed racer picture. I started getting a rush of the old shows i watched, and i tried to remember which ones were anime.

Some of what i do remember are shows like

Dragonball
Sailor moon
Speed Racer
Voltron

I think doraemon and astro boy is one of the best old manga and anime of all time.
Another old manga which I would say is one of the best (and still ongoing) is called 'glass mask', a very interesting manga about the world of acting. Started in the 1970s ( I think) and still ongoing.
Very Happy

I use to watch a bunch of animes from the 80s.....most of them were based on European novels/fairy tales......anybody ever heard of "Bell et Sebastien"?

I use to watch Saint Seiya (the blood kinda freekde me out as a kid).....also: City Hunter, Sailor Moon, GuGu Ganmo, Ranma, Dragon Ball, Maison Ikkoku.....and a few others.....

I think Transformers was an anime......
