I speak english, I little bit of portuguese, and a pretty good amount of spanish. Portuguese and Spanish are really alike though....so I have sort of been learning them at the same time. |

Born in Venezuela but moved to Canada at the age of two. I am 100% (from what I know) Chinese. I can speak Cantonese but I'm illiterate and a miserable failure at trying to read and write. Its what I get for not going to Chinese School pass the gr.1
Now as I said I can speak Cantonese and I am fluent in English. My dad and grandfather can speak Spanish and I might learn it for the sake of it. BUT, I have a great desire to learn German. _________________

Born in The Netherlands and raised here. But i'm Chinese. I speak Dutch, English. And the dialect from my parents birth place, which is the Min? if i have to believe Wikipedia... And a bit of Cantonese(understand about most common thing people say). I can't read any Chinese (can't even write my own name). And i don't understand Mandarin either... I'm such a failure when i think of it sometimes. Especially last summer vacation where i spend 6 weeks in China. Which was with one word awesome.
On a sidenote i also speak a bit of German and French... yea they forced those classes during middle school if thats the right term... Though those 2 classes only pulled down my grades... And no German doesn't sound as cool as in Anime
Guess in time i will start understanding Japanese since i watch far to much anime. And i did manage to learn Cantonese by watching movies when i was a child...
Could never be arsed to go to a Chinese school on saturday... And when i finally tried it, it was a bit to late.. I really didn't felt like sitting in a class between 6-10 year olds when i was about 14 or so myself...
But i regret it to this day that i can't speak or even understand Mandarin. _________________ [IMG:430:120:e3eaef3cc8]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/Sephi2K7/Signature/Yurisigv1b.jpg[/img:e3eaef3cc8] |

woah. The hell there are a lot of part spanish people here. >_>
I am a complicated breed. I do not have one nationality, nor do I have two, neither for that matter do I have three. It seems to be that I have several....maybe
Being TheLoneBrit101 automatically makes me British (though I prefer English), mainly by birth. My father while also British was born in Canada though with a Scottish and English parent apiece. My mother on the other hand was born in Brasil. Though as is the case with the US, everyone's an immigrant. My maternal grandmother therefore comes from Spain while me grandad comes from Portugal, though his father was Italian.
Phew That then makes me a.....Western European...really.
No. I do not speak Italian. _________________
