Your PC...ON or OFF?

just wondering....
Do you guys/girls leave your PC's running or do you turn it off after using it?

I myself leave it ON for 24/7 since I'm downloading torrents all the time and for quick usage of the PC. I only restart it when updates requires me to do so. Sometimes I turn it off for a minute or so then turn it back on.

well, my bro keeps the other comp on 24/7 before, until i told him to turn it off. our electric bill has gone skyhigh because of it. he keeps downloading movies, anime, java, language lessons, audio books, and ebooks. that's how we got to see narnia without having to go to the cinemas.

me, i turn it off after i use it all the time. even if i'm downloading an episode, it still turn it off. it can always wait tomorrow.

I need to keep com on 24/7 firstly to run my bit torrent as it is running so damn slowww.....use training ground in conquer when im not playing(legal bot that train slows but has significant effect when leave overnite)...but sometimes my dad would pester me to switch off the com....

i wish i could leave it on...lol.

i have 2 houses...so when i'm @ dad's i have to turn it off when i go bak to mom's...and when i'm @ mom's i have to get off the internet after i use the comp. so she can use her phone line...real pain in the ass....wish my mom would get dsl like my father..lol.

well I use a laptop but besides the point I leave it on 24/7 cuz of the slow start and then if I need to move it I put into standby

I usually turn off my computer after using it like at night and stuff, but in between I usually leave it on. When I download, I leave my computer on during school.

turn it on in the mornings, usually about s early as 11 b/c my mom would probably freak if i turned it on earlier seeing as she thinks I use it too much. I turn it off before i go to bed.

mines always on, i only turn it off when it gets so bogged down with stuff that nothing will work, even then its just usually a restart or quick on and off, this comps nearing the end of its life, so i should probably turn it off, but i'll probably ring it until its completely dry

sometimes we do because we download bittorrents and sometimes it just really takes long for it to finish downloading. but we turn the monitor off since my brother told me that the monitor uses up most of the electricity
