like any other honorable gamer, i think we all try to use walkthroughs as little as possible. for me i went thru Zelda:Ocarina of Time without a walkthrough but some parts took me like an hour to figure out.
but for twilight princess i got stuck at this one part and sadly enough i gave in and looked at a walkthrough for that particular puzzle. i still regret it arg! it was so obvious.
and people who do like to look at walkthroughs thats just a personal opinion. i actually like playing the challenging part of the game _________________ [IMG:192:154:5c8a51147b]http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n19/GiggityZZ/wall08_resize.jpg[/img:5c8a51147b] |

That's so sad, it's true. *sniff*
But in order for me to be sure that I don't miss anything during my playthrough, I just have to set my eyes upon a walkthrough. _________________

I get stuck sometimes when I play RPGs, so the first step for me is
1) ask my brothers, lol. If that doesn't work then
2) read walkthroughs
I'm not much for reading them throughout the whole game because it's more fun if you kind of find things for yourself. Having it challenging is always good. And even if there are walkthroughs that are deemed "non spoilers" they still spoil a bit of the adventure. |

| I thought that Twilight Princess was just too easy compared to Ocarina of Time I though that the puzzle in Twilight Princess were too obvious |

well unfortunately i'm not the so called honorable gamers out there and practically i abuse the walkthrough
except the game it self is soo simple and don't have a real secret in it like disgaea series...
for the game that have some-lot secret i abuse it so i can get all the item in the shortest time as possible(and also code[cheat])
except the so called so difficult to break game like tri ace inc. production
since the game are too cool and to hard to create the code that will not make the game buggy like occasional hang or hang after somepart of the game and it's been like that since star ocean 1 in snes.... although the more modern the game the more difficult to find non bug code for them.. which is cool
anyway i used to have a walthrough infront of my eyes while playing mostly have secret game (ff,so,tales, grandia, etc) except fighting game or the game that dont really need any strategy like disgaea or strategy game that is really dont have any uses guide like rotk _________________ Haruhi: "Crab is a no-no. I like walkthroughs but i don't use them a lot, coz' I'm lazy going searching for the walkthrough But if i'm able to have my hands on walkthroughs I kinda abuse it... It makes the game easier XD the downside is I loose the interest of the game after the game ended al coz' of walkthroughs, unlike a hard work find |

| Not at all for me, I like to be challenged with games so I always play without walkthrough and at hard mode, it make me feel more enjoy rather than following the walkthrough. |

I use walkthroughs but only at times when I'm really stuck. The games I used walkthroughs are Legend of Mana and Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. _________________

1) Final Fantasy X-2: i gave up on the 3rd try, i didnt manage to get 100% on my own...T_____T
2) Romancing Saga: even a simple conversation can ruined 30% of sidequest on this game....sigh
3) Final Fantasy XII: i didnt know where to find yiazmat...so, i use the walkthrough...
4) SO: till the end of time: 3 times playin and i still miss a few endings, walkthrough here i come....
simply put, i only use walkthrough to a game which hv a multiple ending......heh _________________ [img:300:50:996c22e8b0]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/Ragnarin/myforumLOLskills.gif[/img:996c22e8b0] |

I only use walkthroughs in a game if I get stuck.
Usually though I'll try tons of stuff though before I use them.
I've only had to use them though in games like The Legend of Zelda series. |

The only games that I use walkthroughs for are RPGs....so Final Fantasy and that's only when I've completed the game once and the second time around want to get all the goodies and to get that satisfying 100% marker on my saved game! _________________
