I think I prefer manga to anime because manga is more detailed. And art is a big thing for me. When a manga is turned into an anime, certain details have to be dropped. It's usually small things, but sometimes it causes me to prefer one over the other. Another thing is anime always seems to leave out parts of the story that were in the manga. Probably parts that didn't quite add to the plot, but they made the story more interesting...sometimes.

the main reason i like manga over anime, is that you can read manga at your own pace. fast or slow, its up to you while you can only watch anime at 1 speed.

You can play an anime in slow motion! Haha, but it would be useless without sound.
I like it when the manga have little extras in the panels where they can add jokes or other details usually excluded from the anime.

The question here is that why manga to anime instead of anime to manga...
Am I right?
Well...
I think manga lead to anime because manga is where all of the creativity of the writer flows (it is easier to doodle around the page instead of creating a whole new animation).
I hope that explanation make sense...
Smile

manga is more detailed then anime. they has more scenes then anime and has a clearer picture of the story for the readers. though watching anime is much more fun. XD

In my opinion mangas have more action and better story lines than some anime, anyway if an anime version of a manga it will be a great anime.
Another thing is that manga let you imagine what will happen, because there is no sneak peak at the end, like in the anime.

it all depends what the manga/anime is cuz in some "rare" cases the anime follows the manga prety closely but in most cases the mangas much better cuz it explains the story better and its just much more enjoyable and raw where as the anime is edited and usualy loses alot of the manga that it was based on

i prefure manga because its handheld xD cary it onto a bus or in the car and read it without disturbing others. also i like the detail more in the manga, anime tends to lack shading o.o and in the english version of the anime they mess with the names and voices alot and tend to mess up the series in my opinion.

there are many reasons but the main reason is that the anime ends too soon whereas the manga ends couple volumes later ex. Ichigo 100%
