looking at the posts , it still make me wonder why such anime exits and why there people who wanted to watch, dont u find it weird...haha but seriously those anime attract u as u wanted to watch more to find out more about them but ended up is not knowing it

Evangelion was the anime that get me hooked but I never could tell what the ending was all about and one thing; where does those so-called angels come from?
Never figured that out.

I've seen the majority of anime that supposedly doesn't make sense...

but even if it doesn't, there's still usually loads of great things about them.

And if someone has seen the entirety of lain, you can see it's not totally random. it's quite sophisticated ...

but Bokusatsu dokurochan was just... fun stupid >_> I think it's more of a parody than anything else.

(But truly, the whole "bring people back to life after killing them witha spiked club" makes little sense...it-is- only 4 episodes long)

well the anime i didnt get wasnt really a anime, it was a movie. the movie was ff7 advent children. i have watched it three times and i still dont understand the story fully.

The anime Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi is one of those animes for in the first 5 episodes you're wondering, "What the h*** is going on? This is boring..." The next 5 to 8 episodes are the first five are kind of interesting, but there still is no point to them! It won't be until the last 8 episodes do you realize what is happening.. I actually enjoyed the ending very much.

Yes, in some sense FF VII: Advent Children didn't make sense. You have to play the game to know what Kadaj and his brothers were doing.

Even so, the thing I didn't get about that was why make a movie without a true story? There was no twist or turn or anything.

Anybody else watch this? I did I think it was very cute^^(kind of ecchi though). Still a very cute anime. The characters didn't even get to fully develop(well not mentally at least but physically...) The ending was so short and rushed that it made no sense.

I have to say FLCL, that one is pretty hard to understand.

Akira is also hard to understand but if you watch it over and over again then it becomes clearer.

I just want to clear this up, but not undestanding something is different than wanting more information about something. In a show like FLCL (usually) the actions are understandable, but the motivations are unclear.
Example: It is easy to see that a bomb is hurtleing twords Earth in ep.4. It is not clear why untill the end of the episode, and even then it is only a snippit of information. I resent people that say they don't understand what happend even though they clearly saw the episode and the actions therin. Just accept the fact that the creator didn't want to spell things out for you, and even when they finally do answer some of the questions that they have raised in your mind, they do so in a way that retains FLCL's enigmatic atmosphere. So to sum up, just because a creator doesn't give you ALL the pieces of the puzzle doesn't mean that you don't understand the pieces that they did give, it just means that you prefer more complete puzzles.

Ah.. i found N.G.Evangelion a bit confusing. I got the part when it was up to the 10th angel and all but after that i was in a world of confusion.

Well in my case, I didn't understand Escalflowne as a manga, but as an anime, it made total sense Laughing

. Don't know how that worked out but the manga is only 2 volumes long and I remember Escaflowne being so much longer than that.

Hack./Sign was kind of hard to understand as well.

The anime that makes no sense at all for me has to be Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo since all I ever see is random stuff going on and just pretty much confuses me.
