I think all that had to be done was done...

I havnt got anything against the Dragon Ball sagas.....but honistly.....if it had gone on forever it would just end up with un-enspired plots and stories (such as pkmn)....

The story was about Son Goku...if hes dead, then there is no need for the series to continu (it already has a long mythos behind it without having to add more)

I think the way it ended was perfect..why ruin it?

(sorry..I'm talking from the anime's perspctive...but I'm guessing the manga would be the same)...

Yeah I think it was a bit too long as it was and making more out of it will only serve to kill the series.

well I never saw then ending of GT but saw every one for DB and DBZ the series for me pretty much died after the cell games most of my friends think that as well the plot for majinbuu sucked really badly when I heard there was another seires (GT) I knew it would be bad sure enough it was watched some and it was to bad to even watch that why did not see end for GT

Goku needs to stay dead and stop comming back. This series went on for so LONG. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't make every fight last like freaking 50 episodes each and the fact that everyone keep comming back from the dead so the series keep go on and on like a broken record.

well, considering that the manga ended with uubu and goku flying off to go train in the middle of their match at the tenkaichi budokai, and that gt was never in manga format, then you could say that it did go on farther than it should have with uninspired plots. Not to mention the fact that the animation for the majority of the episodes (pretty much all of them actually) was incredibly substandard given the popularity and history of the franchise.

no we dont need anymore db anything this series was way too long especially wasting time flying, charging to make fire balls and other krap

yeah, i think it went a little too long because of the erroneous fillers that popped up all the time in the tv show, but the manga was pretty good about not being THAT bad about powering up and all forever and ever. though i can't say that it wasn't present, but the flow was much more fluid in the manga than the cartoon.

I think that they did everything they could do with dragon ball, as for me they should have left it on Cell's saga, and that is pushin' it, maybe it was better left at DB o like the author wanted it.. at the freeza saga

Well Dragon ball is one of the CLASSICS! It introduced me to the world of animation. Also the first manga(anime) i have ever watched. So dont push it. You all know you like it. Or liked it for that matter. Creator can suddenly wake up saying " hey you know what? i want to make a new dragon ball series called Dragonball z7e3t....." or whatever

Some of the best episodes were the ones where they're not actually fighting. For example: Goku and Piccolo attempt to get their drivers lisences, and the episode with Gohan's birthday. For those who watched the english version of the Gohan birthday episode, you know you can't hear the phrase 'Super Saiyan Birthday Party' without laughing and feeling pity all at the same time.

To stay more on topic, they took Goku away permanently. He went to be as much legend in their world as the dragon him(it)self. The ending worked for me. Keep it that way.

i donm't think they should continue, dbgt kinda suckz at the end, it was a way too long and every character were alike ... it was better when akira toriyama draw them
