wow that was a great boxing match (eventhough i dont usually watch them).. lots of hitting and punching.. i was just forced to watch since my dad with my brother and his friends were all screaming.. yay!! pacquiao won!! now there's a tie between them both so i guess we're expecting a third rematch to finally see who's stronger then  i guess now it will bring more hope to the filipinos now that they are all relying at pacquaio to win the fight..

haha you did?? lol!! and my dad was just gonna bet our gardener for 500 bucks lol!! i bet many people also used pacquiao as a betting machine ahaha XD but still im so proud of him!!! weeeee!!!!! go pacman!!!!

| Isn't pacqiao the one who's fast and can take a lot of hits? Thats what my cousin told me today. I haven't kept up with boxing so I don't know. |

i think morales is since he's never been tko'ed before just today from pacquiao.. it was his first total knock out ever.. i gotta admit that he was really strong too.. he kept up with the punches in the body and the head pretty darn good
oohh marquez?? pacquiao had a draw with him.. but indeed it was going around that morales cheated on their first fight.. though i dont know who to believe

Tonight, Paquiao displayed his hand skills, speed and ate a lot of the blows Moralles gave him, that should answer your question.
I heard the first match between Paquiao and Morales was rigged. Someone told me Paquiao's manager made him use gloves that were thinner than the standard glove, so he didn't hit as hard. Do you think the gloves were really an issue though?
Ahh forget that, go Paquiao! So proud to be a filipino tonight!

lol just tonight???? so you're never been proud of being a filipino just now?? lol j/k hehe i heard that too!!!! and when they interviewed him he said that he liked his gloves now.. that it was the gloves' first win lol

I'm proud to be filipino tonight more than ever!
Maybe it was the gloves or not... but nevertheless, Paquiao won such a great victory! Man, he really took it to Morales face.
At the beginning, I had lost hope when Morales scored higher 3 rounds in a row. After that, Paquiao just dominated the fight.

i know!! he was getting punches already at the first round!! but in the end people here at our house were jumping and texting and calling every filipino there is like crazy!!!! morales's face was totally beat up and swollen when they interviewed him!!! go pacquiao!!!

Everything went crazy here too after Paquiao drove his last good hit into Morales head!
Beer spilled all over the carpet but no one cared cause it was such a good day for the Philippines. I wanted to cry when Paquiao won...
I know their third match is going to be awesome. Paquiao's great! But Morales is not a push over himself.
But whoo! Paquiao! (I still can't get over the fact he won.)

| Why is there so much hype around Pacquiao winning? Did you think it was a miraculous play or something? You make it sound like he's not supposed to win and its like once every blue moon. Or are you saying Morales is like a tank and Pacquiao is amazing to even knock him off his feet. |

There's a lotta hype because he's filipino! Filipino's are proud of their own kind when they make their names in America. It's that asian pride thing I guess.
Oh, and you can think about it like this. Morales has never been TKO'd. Being both feather weights, Paquiao was the first to knock 'em off his feet twice.
Alotta people though Paquiao was making excuses the first time he lost, about the gloves and all. Tonight, he proved with the right set of gloves that he could take out Morales.

oh, pacqiao's tough. there was once he had a competition(forgot the name of the opponent), the opponent actually used his elbow to hit pacqiao in hte head. of course, its not allowed, it'll easily weaken the enemy. but to everyone's surprise, pacqiao wasnt very affected with it and quickly hit his opponent. was it rage? i dont know....but i know he's hard to beat.

no, morales didnt cheat, but the judges were very biased. although pacqiao achieved many victories so fast, they didnt favor him much cuz he's a filipino. now, thats what's bias, 1ce. we all saw how good pacqiao fought. he oughta get more points than morales....and morales accidentally head butt him. even if it was an accident, they should have deducted points.

like what reis said, morales had never been TKO'ed. aside from that, he's known as "the legend" in mexico. of course this is a great victory for pacqiao and an honor for us Filipinos. and morales' title is no bluff, he's really good.
you know, i already knew that the victoy was pacqiao's already. didnt you notice that in the 2nd round, morales was already weakening? his moves were beginning to slow down and his punches are lighter. and he was weakened even more during the 6th and 7th round. he never had a chance |
