Nope, didn't even pay a cent.
After I applied for a repair service, they sent me a box in which I have to put the iPod and send. The postage and everything was included on the box. The whole process took less than a week. Apple's warranty is really great.

They'll send the empty box to your home by express mail. I recieved that box in less than 2 days since I applied to repair service.

Yeah, they did, but I wasn't home, so didn't get it, and now they want me to go to their place to get the box... So unfair...
You just put the iPod in it, nothing else, right? |

The box comes with instructions, protective sponge, and sticker with information to stick on the box. So I think you have to have that box Apple assigned to you.

Great! I'm glad all went well.
I really think Apple has the best customer service of all. Last week I had to call Apple customer service and I didn't even need to wait 5 seconds for them to get a personnel to talk to me. Where as I have to wait like 30 minutes on the phone to talk with Dell customer service representative.
I bought a 60GB iPod video last week. I love it so much.

It does run out pretty fast, but 60GB iPod has higher battery capacity than 30GB ipod. I'd say it's about 2 hours for the 60GB iPod.

| ... Not enough for me... I'd prefer to watch anime or other stuffs for quite a long time without stopping... Well, they do say that iPod video has less battery life compare to the other video jukebox. |
