| I'm not an ipod user so I wouldn't know. But I believe that you have to use iTunes for that. |

| Well, since this forum is in an anime site, I'm assuming you want to put anime on your ipod. There are converters out there that will convert to the video formats that the ipod supports. They are H.264 and MPEG-4. A great site to get you started if you are on a mac is http://plasticbugs.com/?p=305. If you are on windows, just do a search for a program that will convert divx to H.264 or MPEG-4 |

Use iTune. Follow the instruction there.
I have a problem regarding my iPod Nano. It got an unhappy face on the screen, and I can't do anything about it. Can't listen to music, or transfer stuffs at all... |

| I've heard some iPod Videos were having permanent video uploading troubles, but I guess not. Did it work? If not, I think I might have a solution, but I guess you did. |

| Does the video run well for anime vids? I know that it can't play .avi files... yet... It's probably only a matter of time before the new OS incorporates it. How is the quality of fansubs on the Ipod Video? I'm considering swapping in my 20 gig for a video sometime soon. |

I don't have a Nano, but does that unhappy face stay there all the time?
If it's anything like my old iPod, you can reset your iPod by pressing middle button and top menu button simultaneously for about 5 seconds. Reseting doesn't erase anything, it just resets some of the settings to default sometimes. I do that anytime my iPod becomes laggy or freezes. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Unfortunatle, it doesn't work. I have to send the whole unit to the Apple company to get it fixed. |

Then, you might get lucky and they'll send you a brand new unit.
Which is what happened with mine. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Brand new? How much does that cost? I mean, I chose the "Repair the whole unit", and I wonder if they are going to charge you any repairing fee or not... |

What happened with mine was:
It got soaked in rain water, the unit wasn't functioning at all.
I sent it and they would either repair it if it was simple defect such as button not working, or they would send you a brand new replacement unit.
The manufacturing cost of iPods are actually a lot lower than their retail price. They'll send you a new unit complete with new serial number if they can't fix it. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

| Then, did you pay for anything? Like, did you pay anything at all, like the shipping fee, or postage fee or whatever, or the repairing fee, at all? |
