Well I just read the first volume and I enjoyed it. It felt a little like a Sherlock Holmes short story, and that's a good thing.

Well....Monster is ok at the beginning but it will get more and more draggy at the end...

Well, now I've read volume 2 and 3. It now feels like The Fugitive. Good stuff so far.

Well now I'm up to volume 15. The characters are interesting, specially the detective Lunge, he reminds me strongly of detective Javert although I don't think he'll end up as Javert did. Anyways, I'm very close to the end now.

i hate detective lunge... he have a kind of attitude that he can't trust other people... he can't even trust doctor tenma for not being a murderer.....

Lunge is just set in his way. He truly honestly believes Kenzou did it, I'm looking forward to seeing how he takes the truth (if he ever accepts the truth).

I didn't think it dragged on in the end. It kept me in suspense. I loved this manga. So far I think Monster and 20th Century Boys are the best manga that are currently up.

Man...I'm excited about the movie, even though it hasn't started or anything, lol.

Well, I guess this page gets a little slower every now and then, however, it never lasts more than 5 minutes before returning to normal so it's all good.

At any rate, I just finished reading Monster and it was an excellent read. Very suspenful, intriging, and exiting. I don't understand why people don't like the ending, it seemed rewarding enough to me. I don't want to spoil anything but let me just say that reading the whole thing was worth it just for Volume 18 chapter 153 page 18 of 22. Bravo Naoki Urasawa (first thing I've ever read from him).

still readding it, now reach chapter 90... i must agree with Shadowalker... since the plot is getting intresting back when tenma meet back with stainer... Wink
