Because it has been licensed some time ago by Viz if I remember correctly and it is policy of AS to not host any manga that has been licensed.
It is sometimes harsh for those from other parts of world than America (for example Europe) but there is nothing to discuss it is how it is.
Actually I don't know where to find Monster but I think it is still avaible somewhere in the net. |

| Oh that's probably why they took off 20th century boys too. That's too bad. I was in a middle of a chapter when they cut it off. I think you can find it at www.mangascreener.com but you have to get it off their IRC channel. |

I don' t think its illegal, but it's a courtesy to do so. Because some people wouldn't buy the manga if they could just read it on-line free.
A-S just wants to show that it's not trying to hurt a manga companies buissness. Anyway, if nobody bought manga anymore, the manga artists wouldn't get any revenue and that'd mean no more manga for anybody. |

A new series? Really? I've never heard anything about that. As far as I know the mangaka is still working on 20th Century Boys, which is the work he began after completing Monster. It was referring to 20th Century Boys maybe?

As far as I know there is no continuation of Monster, at least up to this day, maybe in the future... we will see.
There is book named Another Monster, it contains articles and police reporst from the world of Monster that describe what happend in the manga but it hasn't been translated fully into eanglish yet In the last chapter of Monster, in the "message" from the translator should be the page from wchich You can download the first one or two chapters of Another Monster, the translators as I remember the translators are going to make it but when? I don't know. |

| i watched the anime and got freaked out after the first ten episodes.. then the hard disk crashed and took all the anime i downloaded with it.. then i read the manga here.. its a real good psycho thriller! |
