Whom would you like to see win Superbowl XL?
I'll be rooting for my hometown Seahawks. Although I expect to be a very close and entertaining game. Plus commercials are always good. |

I'm going to have to go for the underdog on this one. If Steelers actually pull this off, they'll be the first team since this playoff format as the number 6 seed to win the Superbowl. I believe they'll be able to pull it off as well. Here's why:
Troy Paolomalu: Perhaps the best Strong Safety in the NFL. He constantly stops the run (thus shutting down Alexander), and he has great awareness. He kept on constantly picking off Peyton Manning in the Divisional game and gave Jake Plummer a bunch of grief (thus shutting down the pass). He'll also be getting help from Joey Porter in the pass rush.
Jerome Bettis: If it's 3rd and 3, or goal-to-go, give it to this guy. You'll ALWAYS get a first down. He's playing in his hometown as well. It will probably be his last game. I would LOVE for him to go out winning a championship. Willie Parker can take care of the outside running.
Ben Rothilesburger: I don't even know if I got his last name right. Nevertheless, he is an outstanding quarterback. Not only can he pass and run fast, but he's big, so he can take a beating or two.
Hines Ward: Perhaps one of the most overlooked receivers in the NFL. With hotshots like Owens, Johnson and Smith stealing the limelight (but notice that NONE of them are in the Superbowl), Ward quietly and efficiently plays his game. I would take him as my receiver any day of the week. He could probably be my favorite receiver in the NFL.
Wins on the road: Pittsburgh just owns when playing on the road. Not only are they playing in Detroit, but due to Seattle's regular season record, the Steelers will be the "visiting" team. Let's not forget that this team defeated the 3rd, 2nd AND 1st seed in the AFC on the road.
So I'm going for the Steelers this time. I was REALLY hoping for the Bengals to come out, but they got owned in the Wild Card round, so that was down the drain. Next, I was hoping for Indy to complete their fairy tale season, but the tale had a horrible ending. Finally, I was hoping for Carolina to upset Seattle and eventually pull off the "dark horse" win in the Superbowl. They went and got spanked. So I put my final hopes on the Steelers to pull out a victory. I'll be rooting for the Steel Curtain and those "Terrible Towels" come February 5. |

| Steelers are the underdogs? I swear the current Vegas favorite to win right now is the Steelers by 3 or so. Either way, I'm betting on the Seahawks, because I want them to win. They better too, because my new stero system depends on it!! |

| I think (hope actually) that because not many people expect the Seahawks to win, they come out and pull and upset victory. That would make my wallet, and myself quite happy. |
