If it is a truly memorable anime...
I would be sitting there about half an hour after it is done thinking back through all of the episode (like LAST EXILE) and maybe (99% sure) I will go back and watch the entire series again.

if the anime is 'only for fun' anime, I would smile and say that at last it has ended, and put the anime in my archieve.
ehehehehe

depending on what kind of anime it is
if the anime is top class and should be remembered then i would go back and watch the best parts of the series
but if it is a crap anime then i would just forget about it

1. sad
2. Hoping that it has a very good ending

I guess it is natural to get sad if something you really like watching is about to end, but when the anime i love to watch is about to end I feel that at least it has a decent - very good ending. Don't get me wrong, their is only a few anime I know that has a very good ending, some doesn't even end..they are just replayed over and over again... At least the ending of animes are much better than the soap operas here in the Philippines, whether it is locally made or imported from south korea, japan, taiwan, even mexico, their ending is all suck, no I should say from beginning to end those shows just sucks.

If its an anime based off a manga and the ending is a bit dodgy (ie. does not tie up all the loose ends) i would find the manga and read the continuation of where the anime left off Razz.

If its not or i can't find the manga and its a really really good series...i will just filled empty like when you finish one of ur favourite type of food and its all gone Sad and you craive for more. This also drives me to scour the internet or shops for another good series that i can get hooked on the fill up this empty gap Evil or Very Mad. But with most good anime i'll probably go and rewatch some of the best parts Smile a few days after before it gets burnt onto DVD and stuck in a cupboard for eternity...unless one of my friends ask for it ..

It really depends on how much I like the show and well the ending is executed.

When the anime is really good in style and story, and has well handled ending (eg Chrono Crusade). I actually feel a deep sense of completion.

If the anime is really good, but has a bad ending ( Wolf's Rain - god I loved this series), I remember looking at the end credits and thinking "You have got to be joking". It left me feeling unfulfilled.

If the anime is so-so. I think "Okay - Next!" Without feeling too much either way.

One of my all-time fav anime ending is the one to Only Yesterday (a Studio Ghibili movie to the uninitated). It's done without words, instead a particularly beautiful version of 'The Rose' is played. It perfectly matches the emotional tone of the sequence.

Ahhhhh the dreaded day i see the ending of an anime i like. It saddens me dearly but then i just think about how good it was. review all the episodes in my head, remembering the funny parts, happy parts, etc. it cheers me up a bit, but in the end I just wish there was alot more hehe Crying or Very sad ESPECIALLY if the anime has a sad ending.

Hai!!
