it's sad when an anime ends.. especially the ones that are long. sometimes i wish they would just keep growing.

it actually depends on the anime and this goes to manga as well... but in all of them, i feel sorta empty when it ends.. you know that feelig when you finally finished something after sticking with it for so long... then the thought hits you... "now what..?"

depends on ending some of them kinda make you go "wtf?"
because i dunno its not really an ending? like getbackers
for example...i expected SOMETHING.

however some kinda gives you a sense of accomplishment
like wow the whole story's played through and dam was it good.

Some animes you just wish would never end.. and when the end comes you feel kinda sad. Others especially comedy you Feel happy at the end(n_n) GetBackers did have some kind of feeling of accomplishment. Like Infinity city is okay now and we'll just get back to GetBacking. hehehe...

it really depends on the length of the anime too, cuz if you have something like Dragonball, which went on forever, then when it finally ends i personally was more surprized then anyhting else.

Ok in reply only to the creator of this topic... dude what kinda anime do you watch that has a happy ending... I usually see bad endings or ending that just leave you with nothing no knowledge of the future of the characters or everyone dies and that is the end of it... anyways I feel bad usually because I want more, it leaves me with a feeling of unfulfillment like I need more... also leaves me angry for ending it with nothing but the words the end or sumthing.

It depends on how it ends.
If it has a good ending I'll be happy.
If it has a bad ending, I'll be disappointed.
But most of the time I dont want animes to end because they are so good.

when an anime ends, i do fell like a burden has been lifted of my shoulders, especially if it was a good anime. the animes you form emotional bonds with are the hardest ones to take though, like ichigo 100%, or beserk. i'm not ashamed to say that i cried after both of those.

I am always sad to see a good Anime end but its good when the loose ends are always tied up. But some times they dont and it leaves me a bit disapointed.

Everything has to come to an end, its best for it too be a good one. Of course the impact of the end comes with how long and good the series rolls along. In Cow Boy Bebop and Vash the Stampede wich i consider to be medium length long the abrupt end leaves u suspended, but somewhat satisfied. But long shows like Blue Gender and Wolf's Reign you pretty much had no clue when the end was coming but new it had to come soon or a later (much later in Wolf's Reign Case). In FLCL, you feel little attachment to the characters cause its like.... wtf thats it ? So it depends on the anime, i dunno how much ppl will care about how or when pokemon or digimen ends... cause it will never happen. So thats that ^.^
