you may have to redownload that file. it maybe corrupted or something.
but I'm really not sure...since you were able to play in the first place.
Have you tried to open it on other media Players? _________________

What do you mean by it crashes? Shut down immediately or something?
Maybe you want to take Raiden's suggestion and try playing it in another player like VLC, MPC and BSPlayer.
Anyways, which WMP are you using? _________________

You might not have the proper codex for it. I sometimes get that problem when i run a new movie and haven't updated in a while. _________________ HCl before H20 makes a big bang |

He must have the right codex or else he wouldn't be able to open. What sometimes happens to me is that near the end it will just go blank and you can only hear sound. |

vlc plays everything that is a video, even better than Zoomplayer (which is better from the functional point of view, zoom, aspect ratio etc.) and by far better with video than M$ mdia player. in the older versions of vlc some mpegs turned into a diashow that i had to play them with powerdvd, but that seems to be fixed. .mov files from quicktime are the onliest filetypes, that can make probs with vlc sometimes afaik. But anyways, i advice you have them all, vlc for generic video, powerdvd for dvd and videocd, winamp or xamp for mp3, zoomplayer for videos with the wro9ng aspect ratio, realplayer for streamings (far better than mediaplayer streams) and quicktime/itunes for quicktime streams or .mov
Its the same with media-files as it is with graphics, you use the best programs from the one company together with the best the other has to offer like with photoshop for pixels and Corel for vector... |
