I taught the way he was killed was superb cause it shows that
1) Rukia is a lot stronger then she was made out to be previously.
2) Rukia has a beautiful zanpaktou.
3) A beautifully animated initial release.
I hope Rukia gets a bankai and we get to see her zanpaktou in it's physical form and not just as a blade. *keeps fingsrs cross*
Which brings me to my wondering about zanpaktou's...
Ichigo is from Earth and he is human.
Rukia is from Soul Society and is a Shinigami.
Zanpaktou's are from ____ and is a ____ ?
What are zanpaktou's? What are they made of? Each seem to have their own individuality and it feels like Rukai's one is female? Where do they come from? Does the shinigami chose them or they choose the shinigami? How is it decided what attribute they have? (eg: ice / snow / fire / light ... etc?)
i believe they said that she could be at captain level, which means she would have bankai since to be on the captain level its required........
I taught they meant that she could be a ranked officer and was not referring to a captain level?
Though i keep feeling that in future Ichigo will be a captain and Rukia his vice captain.

I think this was mentioned in the anime. And I think it was Rukia's kaizo konpaku (modified soul) that did the explaining. Can't remember... But I'm pretty sure that it was mentioned that Rukia could be a captain. Or rather, she was actually going to be a captain, but someone in the system pulled the strings so she could stay as vice-captain, because being of a captain level is too dangerous and that certain person wants her to be in the safer side.

yea think she said that herself few episodes back when she released her shikai

They said Rukia was at lieutenant level. But Captain Kuchki pulled strings so she couldn't reach that level yet. But I agree 3rd to 6th seat sounds reasonable.

Seriously!! Why does it go from rukia owning on Arrancar to her being owned by another Arrancar!! XD

not lieutenant, "officer" level. Lieutenant/vice captain (same thing, different translation) are the 2nd seat of each squad. If I understand the mechanics correctly seats 1-at least 4 are held by one person each, while other seats (there are at least up to 7 of them) are held by multiple people, that is, there are several 7th seaters in a squad. Now, it is never said which seat Rukia could take, but since it is never said that she could be a lieutenant (they say officer) that option is ruled out. At best she could be a 3rd seat (which I doubt), but just being an officer in an squad is suppossedly big deal in Soul Society; not many people can be seated officers.

It is implied that their power level is all over the charts. Much like Shinigamis, there are weak and strong ones. It is explicitly said that D-roy, who Rukia beat, was the weakest of the Arrancars, and even his companions regarded him as small fry. Simply put, she got a deceptively easy victory. Arrancars such as Grimmjow are exceptionally strong, on the other hand. _________________
whats the requirement to be vice captain? the second best in the squad have a shika? know there zanpaktou? or even be able to access bankai!? or just a good fighter..
just a awkward question... are the captains...just the securitiy or are they part of the politics of soul society!
how can the hollow just accept shinigama for help and make him like king(talkabout the shinigama who switched sides)

Firstly,Rukia is NOT of Captain Lv. In the comic, it's said that she " has potential to have a Seat Ranking
, but beacuse Byakuya didnt want her to have normal ranking, since it would endanger her life when fighting
in missions."Hence, no, neither is she vice-captain/lieutenant.(maybe she has the capability to be one, we dont know )
Rmbr, it's only said she has the POTENTIAL to be ranked officer ( a seat rank )
Secondly, the ranking of Arrancars. As we know there are three levels of Menos.
D'roy was probably the lowest stage of Menos , thus possible for Rukia to fight with ease.
Grimmjw on the other hand belongs to the Espada, the name given by Aizen , only to ten of the strongest Arrancars
( Grimmjaw is Espada number 6 )

Yes, captains hold political powers.
Aizen was in the leage with the Hollows right from very early stage,
long before he showed his true evil self.
And the Hollows obviously wantpower and MORE power, thus made allies with Aizen
