yes i agree with that too. there can't be much difference between the anime and the manga, as I've seen both of them already

People have different opinions on things, some people like the manga better than the anime and some ppl like them both. For me, i like the anime better than the manga because i don't read the manga, i like to hear the characters speak and i like the music. If i read the manga maybe i'll agree that the manga is better, but more of a anime person than a manga reader.

So far I've seen the manga and anime. I'm only up to Volume 4 in Bleach Manga but compared to Bleach anime they are pretty much the same. Though it misses out on some parts that are mostly some what intriguing the anime captures the action compared to the manga who has a flew strokes of a line to depict slashes or slices.
So in truth those two cons and pros of manga and anime balance it each other out.

yeap i read the manga and watch the anime. in fact the anime is pretty watchable, and the anime infuses voices, motion and life into the characters, and i enjoy the opening and ending music a lot. However, my point is that bleach manga is really really good, the anime version of bleach is just mediocore, at best a slightly above average anime compared to the rest of the pack. Compared to something like One Piece or Naruto, where both originated from outstanding mangas and the anime versions are equally excellent.

can anyone tell me where the anime is in relation to the manga have they gotten to the part where ishida is introduced yet

since yea i found the anime less appealing and just stuck to the manga after viewing the firt two eps and was gonna start again later on when it got more interesting

the last episode i've watched was ep 10 and that was end of volume 4 but i glanced over ep 12 and its somewhere in vol 5

Right now on ep13 they are on the arc of fighting the hallows that ishida released. Ishida was introduced in episode 11.

I find the transition to any mang > anime isnt always going to please everyone. I myself am more of a manga reader than anime watcher but download episodes from time to time. As far as bleach goes I've got no complaints ^^;; The voices suit the characters very well and the original score/ost is nice. Ending and Openings are nicley done too. It's a shame that they couldnt somehow include the 'image songs' for the bleach characters in the to the anime. XD I can't wait till they go to soul society.
