Anime is SEX??????

OMG what a filthy world we live in! Everywhere you go, it's porn porn PORN! sex is everywhere duh! It doesn't mean they're porn. If you say something like anime is porn, I can make the same argument that TV is just porn box and movie theatres are mass porn orgy gatherings.

Saying anime is always animation with sex is obviously ignorant, but it's also half right, more so than those ignorant writers think. I think they just need a visit to Akihabara to clear things up... or maybe not... what with all the H-game/doujin/nude figures in the stores may make the misunderstanding even worse. Laughing

PS: but hey, without the efforts of H-doujin artists and all, the anime girls today wouldn't be half as pretty as they are now.

Never knew that i've been watching "animated sex" on TV for about 17 years... Laughing

Obviously, the journalist who wrote the article didn't have a chance to watch or heard about anime like Doraemon. His parents must have been showing him "animated sex cartoons" since he was born, such a sad world he lives in. So don't bash him too much since he's also the creator of H-rating for movies.

Anime is not all based on sex, cmon people if they are trying to say stuff like a boy and a girl growing up is not going to have some kind of exploration then yeah its cool, but cmon its not like.. hmmm for instance in DB, when Goku first met bulma and they were sleeping, goku naturally as achild not understanding the difference between a boy and girl didnt understand why she did not have the same "pillows" as his Grandpa Gohan did... so as a child (like we all did) he explored to try to find out what was going on. Its not like he started umm... this isnt the ecchi forum so I cant really say that here jejeje... anyways u know what I mean. Japanese as all asain countries are, are not so hurt at the fact that people grow up and explore eachothers bodies, its a natural occurance and I think that in anime as they are trying their best to make it seem realistic, they include that to add to a reallity factor.

if they can classify all animes as h-rated, why not furthur classify manga as h-rated? sigh... i wonder what the world is coming to. how can a person with so little knowledge of what their saying be able to publish an article on it?

maybe something happened to the author involving h-animes. like... he and a friend watched yaoi together and his friend raped him or something

I'm not so surprised that anime and manga are taken to be just..that..though. The same thing goes with gaming industry, where GTA and a few bad clones becomes the label of the whole industry. It could be because of generation gap, or prejudice of any sort. People have always resisted change, and a media that is suddenly becoming so prevalant is bound to be suspected.
My country, Thailand, went through a bit about this..a couple of months ago, most manga almost faced a permanent banning--but with enough whining, and an already bad political climate, the government laid low and try not to stir up anymore bad publicity than it already is.

Plus, it's not like Hentai and Ecchi really are rare..in fact, google up anime and you'll most likely hit them before any other type of anime even.

I don't think anime is sex, i think sex is sex, porn is sex, hentai is sex. it's true a lot of anime's have girls, who at times may dress a lil showy, but that's usually( i use this lightly) what the anime is about. The artist and makers work hard to crate these anime's, and it's pretty sad but the truth is, who wants to watch a show about a bunch of butt ugly people( I use people so i can include girls and guys.) America often compiles anything slightly out there with porn, and i for one am PISSED. Anime and hentai are two different things, and will probably stay that way for a while longer. At least until people can get there head out there A$$

Anime cannot be categorized as sex.
Although there is hentai out there, it shouldnt all be looked at as sex.

who understands the concept of anime. its a really cool
form of art with its distictiveness that you wouldn't call
"cartoons" yeah also theres hentai, yuri, yaoi, in its sub-
categories...too much generalization...the author could've at least
watched some proper anime first before bashing.
