|
|
| According to some demographcal data, many countries are now experiencing a decline in their population as baby-boomers are now reaching the age where they are dying. As well, people are no longer having as many children, however overall the planet's human population is growing, countries like Japan, Russia, and even China, are in a decline. What do you think of this? |

| perhaps, but what do you think will happen to taxes? the economy? With less people around, taxes will probably rise, and the economy may begin a slow descent. |

It's true, we just might need a population decline. Maybe with less people, there'll be a drop in unemloyment ratings. And less homeless people. _________________

Do you think the governments will ever come up with a conspiracy to wipe out all those homeless people like exterminating all those people and their families with income below this point or that... that would surely eliminate the unemployment rate and poverty... though i don't want that to happen right now.. i might be one of those to be exterminated.. _________________

| With less people less tax money is needed, so in the end it all balances out. |

| See, this population decline is worrisome in two ways. First, it means a decrease in births, reducing your young population. Secondly, as you population grows older, who is going to care and pay for that growing group? It'll merely put extra burden on a decreasing young/middle age group while the work force grows smaller. |

well, population decline's better than massive suicide or increasing death rate cuz of war. it's more humane this way in my opinion. you say the younger generations would be lesser. if you havent noticed, many old people are also dying. some dont even reach the age of 60 because of diseases and in born ailments. for the taxes, i havent seen any improvement in china's economy because of their massive population now, did it? they only experienced economic boom because of the oil need of america. in fact, they were having a hard time due to the rising population that families are limited to only having 1-2 children. they even kill the extras. another thing, the more people, the less land. more people also means more waste, more problems in the non-biodegradable part. and who's the ididot that said "the more, the merrier"? he sure never went to one of the flea markets in china.
all of these are based in my experience. cuz that's exactly the situation of the philippines, overpopulation. squatters even steal land from others by just putting their broken down houses in the private lot. thats how hard it is here. food couldnt be reached with a 10 foot pole because of poverty. less and less employment aer available becaus eof too many applicants. this is only a quarter of the problems that arise from overpopulation. a decline wouldn't be so bad. |

I have no idea honestly. besides what you just told me. All I know is about president arroyo's power being heavily contested and the philipines seem embroiled in political tension. |
