English or Japanese

For me it depends on a combination of my mood, how the english voices sound vs. the japanese voices, and how well the english script is written. For most anime, I like both equally, and flip casually between the two. There are a few rare animes where I do strongly prefer one version over the other. I would suggest watching an episode once in one version, then again in the other version, and then decide for yourself which one you find more appealing.

I am all for Japanese audio with english subtitles, it just seems to have more feeling and emotion in their words in my opinion.

i find that if an anime was originally made with japanese adio then thats how it should be watched because english dubs wouldnt give it justice

I favour Japanese audio with English subtitle because you can feel the emotion that the Japanese language can give English can't. Also English is my second language and with English dubs I have problem with catching the lines .

I personally prefer Japanese subtitles over English dubs. There are those rare times where an anime does have a decent english dud like Cowboy Bebop,Love Hina, and the Ken Akamatsu version of Negima. then there are sometimes where the anime voices for both English dub and the original Japanese just suck.( can't think any right now, but those don't last long)

I say it depends if the english dubs are any good. If there not i would go with the Japanese with the english subtitles.

true. Japanese voice actors are way better in animes than americans.
Japanese are using a very natural and good feeling when speaking.
Americans on the other hand, are often like uninterested newbie readers.

hmm good question. Well i like to watch them with japanese audio with english subs. Why well not only does it sound best, but i also learn japanese xD

i prefer the original Japanese its alot better and there not editing in the series or anything changes, everything is exactly how it was made

I just watched D.N. Angel, again, and I watched both Japanese and English dub... The Japanese version had the voices fit the anime, The English dub had like cute voices, not fit for the mood of the anime.

But I have seen some advances in English dubs having voices fit a little more to the anime's concept of the character, unlike in older animes, they make the voices of female characters too cute, or lets say having such childish voices.

personally i think when animes are dubbed after watching the sub'd version, it kinda killed it for me. Eureka 7( #1 Anime!) Got dubbed i thought the voice acting was horrible but thats just me. Its always good to hear japanese makes it feel more original.
