I like subs, cause sometimes I find the voices so annoying in the dubs. _________________ ("\ (O_o) /") PANDA

Definitely the subtitled with japanese audio since basically when they dub it into english they "stupify" everything cause of censorship bs... but yeah anime is made in japanese, watch it as it was meant to be seen and hear it as it was originally recorded. _________________ Living a life of happiness within the shadows of my mind.

hahahahaha...
neither.
o_o I prefer Engrish.
Subs are never completely English.
Dubs are perverted, in a good bad way.
So, Engrish it is, and it is the industry standard |

| I prefer Japanese audio, English subtitles. There's just a lot of nuances in the language that gets lost in translation when spoken. |

| i'd say that u should watch them in jap w/ english subs. a lot of animes have been ruined by horrible voice acting in english, i don't know if the voice acting for the japanese is bad or not cuz i don't understand them. however, if you're gonna watch ghost in the shell, get it in english. it was difficult to keep up w/ the subtitles, so much talk. |

| I think one of the major atractions to the original Japanese language is the "Kawaii" factor.....which is....I guess..our view on cute.......very different in the western world..... |

I had some animes being dubbed and I just hated it. It sounded unrealistic and kinda weird. Maybe I'm just used to the subs, but also to the voices. Japanese people have a different way to speak not like the Europeans or Americans. Anime is a part of the Japanese culture and to dub animes is like raping them ._. When I go to the cinema I try to catch the subbed version of the anime. I just hate hear them talking German. I hate reading German subs aswell, but in the cinema you can't choose the language of the subs XD
And also the most dubs are just really bad... _________________ [img:128:46:0950250a2f]http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/3964/koeder7tf.gif[/img:0950250a2f] |

let's just say i'm one of those people who automatically change the audio on a dvd to japanese without even listening >>; force of habit, i've heard of alot of good dubs but the japanese voices just sound so much more natural. _________________ I like your hat. |

| I dont like dubbed anime very much. I think that it is because Japanese voice actors sounds better that dubbed ones. Maybe voice actors also act acording they personalyty match too. I mean personality match by the personality of the character has to match the voice actor too. |
