I dont know about you, but i find Shaman King really repeating, its just fights and stuf.... almost no story
Samurai Deeper Kyo is sometimes way too complicated... is it based on japanese history or someting? Also, they just keep on fighting more and more enemies until the Red king thing. Its like, the more you read, the more they reveal enemies that kyo must defeat to get his freaking body back

Boring anime huh....
Any anime that has a set "formula" for each episode. The obvious ones are the Pokemons and Yu-gi-oh's. Meet new bad guy, challenge new bad guy, fight new bad guy, beat new bad guy and learn new morales.... CLAW MY EYES OUT!!!
.hack//SIGN - I almost fell into a coma watching this anime. I watched the whole damn thing (skipping a lot of "slow time" in the episodes) expecting it to improve or at least have a superb finale. Boy was I disappointed....
Ragnorak:the Animation - for some reason I don't really enjoy RPG based anime. The idea sounded interesting for both .hack//SIGN and Ragnorak but I just couldn't stay focused. Ragnorak was alright. I skipped a few of the middle episodes to see what happens in the end. Still a pretty boring anime.
I have to disagree, Twelve Kingdoms is one of the greatest anime ever made. Although its first few episodes were a total bored, but as the story progressed, it became one of the greatest. Though the ending is not really an ending, but that didn't make the value of the anime any less.
The ones that I thought were boring and making no sense are DearS, ichigo 100%, and that one w/ the big breasted girl that excels at using guns, gosh seeing her breast gave me a headache, I gave up after 1 episode.
Worst bloody %#@=%& that has been made. No ending and just wierd... What did those fella's smoke?
Explenation: I liked it until about episode 25 then it went completely straight down the line, that's why I despite it so much... With a better ending it would have been full top grades, no don't watch it if you want to keep your mind in one peice...
Hate it, can't stand it, predictable imo and I felt sick afterwards.
Makes you think though, and made me cry several times.
But ye, it suits the boring case since I don't watch animé to be reminded of how cruel real life is.
Reason: They're too perverted, not a good plot, too nasty in a way like"This is wrong. Completely wrong... She sure is hot though... Oh my god! Look at her mom! *ding*""They're still kids and a bloody family! Nasty! Hentai warning!"

The most boring Anime I've ever watched was a series named "Dog Warriors" It wasnt that long or anything but after watching a few episodes it became more of a chore than entertainment.

I'm guessing you are one of those people that only enjoys some sort of happy love comedy or action type anime.
But did you ACTUALLY find those listed series as BORING? Sure some of those had bitter endings that some might find disatisfying, but BORING!? You listed some of the most beloved series of fans, and you actually find them boring? Tell me, just how many anime did you watch so far? Don't tell me you only pick and watch the highest rated anime you can find. If you do, of course you'll be making up completely irrational list like that... but what do I know? each individuals have different minds and thoughts, you just happen to be the few minority that has the complete opposite ways of thinking. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

Yet animés that pisses me off while watching them and make me nearly puké and go rampage on the street ARE boring in my opinion.
I don't really bother whcih the main stream likes or not and I tend to watch animés from recommendations and those that might be intresting.
And yes they WERE boring since they completely ruined my day/week/month or even year. I'm still pissed at Neon Genesis Evangelion and Kimi ga nozomu eien.
You are right, I love happy endings, mostly because I can't seem to find them In real life since life basically kicks me in my face while god or whatever being is responsible for the mess I'm in like to laugh at me when he's bored.
Ya, Majority isn't always right. Taste is different in each mouth to say, well I've always loved to WALK AGAINST the mainstream, that is those who always want to see others miserable lifes so they can be happy about their own.
Onegai Teacher spoiler(+ my comment):
How would you like it if you dated your teacher, eh? Bloody nasty, disgusting, he's 18 for christ sake and she's a bloody alien, for crying out load!

I wouldnt go so far as to say avoid the mainstream completely. Just like anything else its all a matter of opinion. Everyone is going to think something different about anime. For example, I dont think EVA is that great at all. Its good, but I dont think its THAT great to the point of how everyone reveres it. I bought it, but its still only okay. But does that really matter? Not really. Everyone is different.
Well on the subject at hand, I really thought that the two street fighter movies were mind numbingly boring. Since it was street fighter I thought that there would be maybe, you know, some actualy good fighting. I was sorely mistaken. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Boring:
Beck - so boring I don't even remember why I found it so boring.
.hack/sign - fell asleep watching it
Pita Ten - ...it just went nowhere
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - too predictable, extremely boring main character
For most of these animes I had already downloaded all the episodes, so despite finding the series boring, I finished watched them (I would've been bored not watching them anyway). Usually, for me, as long as the anime isn't stupid (a million plot holes, or lack of a plot, emphasis on overused/naive themes and interpretations) I keep with it 'til the end.

Yeah I tend to watch most anime till the end, usually because I like to see whether they can redeem themselves or whether they crash and burn. If the anime show is finished then I'll download the whole series and watch from beginning to end (maybe skipping some episodes), if the show is still running and it just bores the bejesus out of me, then I drop it like a bad habit.
