naruto movie (DVD-R) not working

the new torrent for naruto movie does not work?

why?

Because it is an IMAGE file.

image file is a direct copy of a DVD... so somehow these guys got the Naruto Movie DVD and ripped it. You must burn the image to a DVD-R or if you don't have a DVD burner ... use a DVD emulator so you can play it off your HD.

I don't really know any good or free emulators.. but a quick google search brings up virtual drive which is shareware... free for 30 days.

Keep searching and please let others know if you find a good emulator because i'm sure you're not the only one who will have this problem =)

The program I use for hosting images is Daemon Tools its free and has no trial period.

Also, can anyone confirm that this is real? I want to see the movie, but I don't want to download 4 gigs worth and then find its fake or unsubbed/really badly subbed.

Whew! skery good thing i was checking post b4 i made a topic about this *pats shoulders n sigh* .. the emulator thing..freak me out..after i saw that i was like Woah! then the 4 gigs made me kinda think weird..like how long the movie was n stuff..but ive tried google and they have all these www.palmsource.com things and then u have to login in order to download..but..i guess ill use spoons Very Happy

well, I have finished downloading this file, but daemon doesn't let me host it, and neither do any of the other image burning or hosting programs i can find.
Anyone else got any ideas, or got it working??

The rumor is that this file is actually an image for Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911. So if you're expecting Naruto, you might be sadly disappointed.

On the bright side, F911 was an AWESOME movie, so at least you've got that going for you.

its a fake.

1. tried nero, deamn tools, alcohol, isobuster doesnt work.

things u should notice:
1. they didnt zip it, makes no sence especially when it is a huge file like this.
2. format quite unusual, *.img not used very often.
3. y they up a whole dvd? splitting it takes some minutes.
4. read *.nfo file sth about a english soundfile...
5. n1 link:"u have 2 burn it..." 4sure. the ones who up/rip this know that u can mount the image easily. these funny guys just want u to waste dvds and time...

Arggg damn! i just finished dl it too :/..oh well..couldnt play cs while it was dling :/ i dled like 5 diff programs too just to try to get it to work..maybe i shouldve read this post sooner :/ arrggg!
