not all of the PSP games suck...youjust have to think carefully what to get when buying the game for it. I bought mostly to play Import games and for the graphics that it shows. the power of a PS2 in a handheld....sweet!
I own one and I'm completely satisfied with it... _________________

| If you just bought a new PSP, it'd probably be a waste of time for you to search for anything similar to a PSP emulator at the moment. New PSP's have the latest Firmware, and apparently, that ruins your chances for cracking the firmware and using emulators (or so I'm told). My friend yelled at me when I updated my firmware from 1.5 to the current one >_<. |

An emulator allows you to play old games.
Anyways, the PSP would have been a much better handheld if it had another analog stick. If it had one on both sides, then most of the games would be a lot easier to play, therefore making them more fun.
I disagree with what everyone says about the games being not worth the money. Most games got bad reviews and aren't given a second chance. I remember seeing that Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade getting a bad review, but I thought that the game wasn't half bad. I enjoyed playing the Diablo-like handheld.
The only reason why people think that DS is better is because Nintendo is doing what it does best. They are capitalizing on their ability to add new innovations to the world of gaming. They want to make gaming a more interactive experience.
The PSP on the otherhand was ment to accomplish a variety of things with quality. Think about it, this is Sony's first crack at a handheld and I think that they did a pretty darn good job. The graphics quality is just amazing, online play is a must, memeory sticks allow a replacement for iPods, and much more.
The PSP is going to have a longer shelf life than the DS. Already we see Nintendo trying to ship out DS Lite, and the only change in PSP we've seen is the change in color (I personally enjoy my pearl-white PSP). _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

im not a huge fan of handheld in the first place, but a PSP is like a $300 paperwight lol
if anything i'd take my gamecube everywhere, with the LCD panel and a car battery i can make that thing last for a good 9, 10 hours ^_^ _________________ Shepherd the lost sheep

And the thing about firmware for emulators can be solved by down-grading your PSP. All you have to do is google up earlier patches of firmware.
And if you look at the PSP as a whole, then you notice that the handheld itself can only get better seeing as there is room for improvement. We notice that Sony has been able to capatalize on the gaming industry by noticing its weaknessess and potentially making it their greatest strength. When the PSone came out it didn't have any RPGs in its launch line up. Seeing this they realized that they needed to utilize the consoles potential and opted to grab hold the first 3D rpg, Final Fantasy 7. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |
