i agree. i mean, sure a smaller size would be a bit better, and some better graphics would be nice(i really think the DS needs that compared to the PSP), but it's not worth it...

Not having a DS from before but wanting one, this is the best thing that could've happened to me. I've seen a lot of people complaining that Nintendo should have just stalled the release of DS and made the original into Lite, but no one is forcing them to buy it. But from the view of someone who wanted a DS but never had one, this is great news.

I think this redisign will be an important step in getting more consumers in North America. The west is fascinated by pretty looking PSP, maybe if DS didn't look too childish, people might actually start buying DS.
But then again, some people are just posers. They don't really know what games are all about. Those people like sexy cars and guns... =.=
They might not be able to see beyond childish looking games on DS.

There really isn't much of a difference though. I wish Nintendo would make a more major change before they release a new version. I guess the choice of the two would be nice, but not of any real consequence.

And the article might be false for all we know. Until I see a TV ad I'm not going to believe this for one second.
