I believe Ninty actually announced it themselves. And there's an article about it on NoJ's site.

I don't mind buying another one, but I really still prefer my old DS. I loved my graphite black DS the best. If they can come out with a good black coloured one, then I am going for that. If not, then I am not going to buy that. Furthermore, I have big hands, so the old DS still fits in my hand the best ^^

I'm quite tempted to go out and buy it when it hits U.S. But knowing myself (there's times when I'm just plain irresponsible (stupid me)), it could get stolen. It's already happened to my iPod. Embarassed

niiiiiiiiiiiiiice... but i'm already had buy the old one!!! maaaaaaaaaaaaNNN.... anyways... i think is a good redesignig... but it's too little... and looks like it's little bit fragile... we have to wait... but i already have one and i am... so happy with it.... Embarassed

I'm happy with this verison, and I agree with chackyngaka, it does fragile

well a rumble pack would be nice to be buitl in because they already have on for Metroid Pinball so i just thought it could become a standard feature, and u guys are dirty dirty people.

But as for the topic at hand, it looks nice. I've been holding off on buying one for the simple fact that I'm poor... But it'd be nice to be able to buy that version and tease my friends about having the older version.

Also, why would they upgrade the graphics? Do you know how pissed off you'd be if they released the same unit with better graphics and you had the older one? Be a bit reasonable about that. I don't mind the graphics at all, and I'd rather see more 2D games realeased because those are my favorites. Give me Shining Force 3 for DS, I wanna finish that damn game. Crying or Very sad
