cooking/action manga that you think the best?

Cooking Manga! Ahh.. my forte... my cup of tea... my creme de la creme! My GOD what am I talking about?

Oh yeah, Cooking Manga.

If you wanna pick up a good one that is licensed... in fact.. the only one what is licensed.... grab Iron Wok Jan! It has lots of Iron Chef-esque battles and some good action bits too! The main character is very interesting, since he's not really a good guy ^^

Now.. for hunting around the internet, I suggest Yakitate japan (of course), Addicted to Curry, and... if you are able to find manga scans for it... a really long series that is completed called Cooking Master Boy. The anime is out there, but isn't nearly as long as the Manga.

Anyway, that's all the ones I know of, and I suggest ALL of them! Go for it! Expand your horizons! Go... dang, I'm hungry now... *walks off to make some curry and Mt. Fuji bread*

Yea, i dont think that there are any other cooking anime. But i think we are going to be seeing more since Yakitate Japan is turning out to be a hit.

i think for me the best so far cooking mangas are yakitate and addicted to curry..although it more comedy rather than action... Laughing

that curry one! i can't remember the name, it was ages since i last seen it, i never finished it though cause it stopped for some reason. it was funny:D the onyl other food one is the yakitake thingy and thats ok

uhh you can try cooking master boy but thats a real old series. it even has it in canto. i remeber watching it when i was like 8. i heard of one but not sure if it exist. it was something like iron wok sumthing...

the first one i encounter is cooking master boy and it's really good even without much action and then yakitate japan of course and also not to be forgotten, addicted to curry.all of them is good.
for action and advanture and sometimes hilarious, i will go for one piece, naruto and bleach.

Yakitate!!Japan is starting to make me want to cook or makes it more interesting is what I am trying to say. Its really interesting. Cooking is sometimes fun but it requires a lot of things that you need to know. @_@;; I helped my mom cook a few times and it was complicated. I only got in the way for the first time. >.< But then later on I started to know more and I was acually helpful. =]

Ya Yakitate is the only gourmet anime i have ever watched. I think its pretty darn funny too! If there is more like that, then i definitely have to check it out
