Manga-> (MY) #1 stolen reading material

I used to share a clinic with another practioner. When we first opened it I thought it'd be cool to have a couple of my manga on the book self so the patients can read it-MISTAKE!!!
I now regret this as my patients are constantly taking them (Even if i put a "do not take" label on them). So I got rid of them, but the patients are constantly bothering me to bring them back. Since I am such a nice guy Rolling Eyes

I let them take it one at a time by using a library system to sign them out.
Sign... Money's no problem it's just finding the manga that's a pain in the butt. Anyways I thought I'd just vent this out somewhere because I just had to let it out (It's a good stress relief)

Here's the manga that's "missing" from my shelf
Ranma Vol. - 1,2 and 5
GTO Vol. - 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11 Crying or Very sad

Love Hina Vol. - 8
Kenshin Vol. - 3
Trigun Vol. - 2
Naruto Vol. - 3 and 4
One Piece Vol. 1-4
DBZ - Vol. - 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9,15, 22, 24 and 26 Shocked

The rest
9 of my Mad magazines
5 reader's digest
couple of Times Magazine
1 Where's Waldo book
and a lot more, but they don't compare to how quickly I lose my manga.
In just one day I had 6 of them gone missing Sad

also, If you are one of my patients (you know who you are Evil or Very Mad

) then please bring them back I have doubles for some of them, but they are for the other patients as well.

holy s***! those are like my favorite titles! you have got to be kidding me! sue those damn people! get them arrested! kill them!......oooh, you're a doctor. oops! then you're a really nice guy to do that again. hahaha. thats okay, it'll all come back in 10,000 folds. ^_^

Aww, you are so nice to your patients. But how does the library system work in the clinic? Is it like they borrow it for the time they are in the clinic and then return it when they leave? Cause it would be funny if your clinic turned into a library Shocked

, people checking back now and again to see if they can borrow another one lol

Getting doubles for some of them was a good idea Very Happy

Anyhow, good luck with finding your missing manga. Maybe some patients took it by mistake and are very sorry Wink

Thats not cool T.T now i fill bad for reading this. Those are rilly good mangas. How could any bodey do that. ?_? I just got lost at what i was talking about?

wow....that really bites....i'm sorry...but if i were u i wouldn't lend out my collection to other ppl...especially if it risks them taking them or destroying my books. u should gt survalence cameras!!..lol.

I wish more people would have manga in their waiting rooms. It sounds like a really good idea, because people have to come back to finish the volume and stuff.

I think those metal detector things are a little extreme though. Cameras would be a good idea though. They would also double as a security system right? Or if money is a problem try just adding a tinted dome to the ceiling with a sign "your on candid camera" or something. A look-a-like would probably scare away those even thinking of taking a manga from your office.

lol metal dectectors and cameras? I don't want any of the patients to feel uncomfortable and it's just books (as you can see I feel much better about it). By the way, the library system is simple. They choose a book they want to read (on the shelf) and sign it out with the help with my receptionist - the shlef is behind the Receptionist desk so they can see it, but can't take it. Oh and I got 2 of my GTO mangas Very Happy
