I think part of the problem (if there is a problem that there's less of us--I personally kinda like the guy/girl ratio) is that there are generally less females who spend hours glued to their computer screens watching anime and having fun on the internet. Sure, the numbers of females in geekdom are growing (we tend to suck each other into it) but the internet-attached females are still fewer. So, this isn't really a suggestion but you can't really be surprised at the ratio, can you?

if you wanna try to get more females.. try adveristing this website on some female teen webpages... there has to be some who are interested in anime

Yeah you're right Kxtreme...this site looks fine just the way it was...
Advertising this website to a female teen webpages..is kinda hard...you know not all of girls like Anime(not including myself)They like cute things..

Best way to get chicks to come here would be, go to anime convention. Hook up with some there. Tell them to check out a-source,become memberes, pm you. ANd boom we have some females.

heh, I don't mind seeing more girls around here but definitely most of the visitors are male. I'd estimate maybe 80%-90% of the visitors are male.

But the females who visit our website tend to be very prominent. Members like Egeria (admin), ^Panda (admin), MaCeR (admin), Chikage_Shampoo/Ren Yin, Himitsu, bakanekonei and even the new comers like Kayuga1502, toot and Yoshimi have made a considerable impact.

For forum purposes, I'd have to say maybe half of the people who participate on the forums are female.

In the Anime Reviews section, females practically kill the males in this section with many of the above mentioned people submitting multiple stuff per week!

But for informational purposes, I'm going to make this month's poll about demographics.

kaiser your a sneaky one indeed, but with computers in general, i think theres a higher guy to girl ratio. Its really not surprising at all to find more guys in forums all the time.
