Do non-decimal numbers scare you, too? Like 100101100101101010101101 and F32A?

Whyat about irrational numbers, like 3.141592654...?(AKA Pi) or 2^(.5)?

hexa's ok. Binary's easier to convert to hexa first (do it 4 numbers at a time) and then either convert to dec, if you feel you have to, or work in hexa. I actually prefer hexa for computy stuff cos, well, it's more adequate. Everything breaks down nicely if you use hexa.

Personally I don't think it's a problem if a thread goes off topic unless it's in a serious forum like anime series. It's nice for a thread to evolve naturally. Some places seem a bit strict about that sort of thing. Hopefully we're not Smile

no, 00111000 00110001 00111010 00110001 00111001 is the boy/gir1 ratio in binary, according to current poll results. That post involved cake and pie.

Incidently, the 90:10 guess is pretty close. It's currently 81:19
