I think there's something wrong with the reviews database. I have a review that's well over 250 characters long and it still wouldn't allow me to submit it.

Astounding. Simply-astounding.
It's not common when you come across titles of this calibre, ones that keep you on the edge of your seat, thriving for the next episode. Furthermore, what makes GTO amazing is the orientation of the plot itself. Enter Keikuchi Onizuka, a 22 year old bachelor who is destined to become the Japan's greatest teacher. Not only is this his greatest aspiration, he's also a legendary gang leader from Shonan! While it may not seem realistic, who needs realism when you've got top notch anime like this?
One of the qualities that defines this anime to be literally one of the best is how Onizuka's character was developed. It was brilliant how the show was refined around his character because despite his level of intellect, he was able to fulfill his ambition of becoming a teacher with the help of Ms. Sakurai, the chairman of Holy Forest Academy. On the other hand, Onizuka really is an enigma because you can never predict what he is to do. He looks out for all his students from class 3-4, a notorious class that has a repuation of terrorizing teachers, and in the end he is able to suade them all on to his side.
Another thing that makes this series remarkable is that it's not a show totally devoted to demonstrate how students learn to get high marks in school, but rather it exemplifies how students learn to have fun in school. Finally, what places the icing on the cake for this show is the beautifully orchestrated ending. Never in my life have I ever seen such a fabulous and dramatic climax. I was left in awe. GTO explores the fundamental aspects in education and it really makes you wonder, what would school life be like if you had a teacher like him?
That is my review that I would like to submit but it wasn't allowed because for some odd reason, it doesn't have 250 characters.
