| I wasn't really scared by it but I think that Resident Evil is really good in terms of what a horror game should have. |

| First Encounter Assault Recon = F.E.A.R. Even though this is a shooter, there are some scenes that are unsettling. Especially when the game is played at night & no lights. |

1. The first few levels in Undying: It's just evil hearing the demons, seeing their shadows, but when you look they are gone. The idea with the crystal shard making you see things as they really are was also great... especially in a demon infested house... scary
2. Alien vs. Predator 1&2 as human: When the scanner goes BLIP BLIP BLIP right next to your position and you see absolutely NOTHING, that sure gets the heart pumping
3. System Shock 2: zombies going "kill me" and cyborgs singing lullabies for alien worms only to say "Babies need fresh meat" when they see you...
Why are so many people only playing console games, there is so much more out there |

Forbidden Siren is a really good and really creepy game.
I was never able to finish it thou. I really want to but it's too scary! Now it just sits in my shelf and gives me shivers everytime i look at it.
Another fun survival-horror game is the french produced (I think) Obscure. It's not that scary at all but you can play co.op. with a friend and that's really funny. For example if you find a gun then only one of you actually have it so that person has to protect his friend.. if you want to keep him alive that is.. |

| F.E.A.R is pretty creepy too. Even my friend (who was completely unphazed by doom 3- mind you, doom 3 wasn't even that scary after the first level) put it down after the first few levels. The atmosphere in FEAR is really nice. |
